CHAPTER 79: MARRIAGE

Ken's POV

"Is the Marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Durham on the Rocks?"

"Is there something the Royal Family is keeping from us?"

"The darker side of the continued Absence of Princess Almira on the Royal engagements"

I stared blankly at some of the newspaper my parents put on the table. My marriage hitting the headlines again. When are they going to stop this?

"Tell me again hijo bakit wala dito ang asawa mo?" (si Mom)

Napabuntung hininga na lang ako.

"I'll arrange the plane. Ipapasundo ko na si AeiAei sa Pinas. Hindi na maganda ang nagiging imahe nyong mag-asawa dahil sa magkalayo kayo." (si Dad)

"Please don't. I'll handle it."

"Pero hijo buntis ang asawa mo! Andito dapat sya! She can take her classes here. May online naman ah? Ayoko na makakita ng mga ganyang balita. It's creating dirty speculations on your marriage!" (si Mom)

"You both know I can't do it alright? I strike a deal with her dad. I'll keep my distance because I broke his condition. As long as we all know that my marriage is stable and she loves me, we should not spare a damn fvck on what the media is spreading."

I walked out on my father's study and stared at our huge wedding portrait. I smirked bitterly. I so damn miss her so bad. Why is everything so goddamn complicated?

"Gosu!! Ramdam na namin na miss mo na kami kaya dinalaw ka na namin!" (si Rex)

Napabaling ako sa baba ng hagdanan and there I saw my gang smirking at me. I smirked back. Damn I miss these fools too.

Naglakad na ako pababa at sinalubong na nila ako ng yakap. Tss parang mga bata.

"Up for some golf and stroll later your highness?" (si Lawton)

I glared at Lawton, hating how sarcastic he is on my royal title. Tsk. I realize that yeah. I probably need something to occupy my mind today or else I'll just lock myself on my room staring at the pictures and videos of engot. Damn I miss her so bad I want to go home kahit pa tutukan na naman nila ako ng baril sa ulo ko.

We mounted on our own horses going to the golf course talking about business, classes, and of course, underground issues of our gang.

"Vien and the girls are throwing a baby shower for Aei tomorrow. You want me to ask Vien to take a video for you?" (si Mic)

Tumahimik lang ako hanggang sa naglalaro na kami ng golf. Mukhang nakakaramdam naman ang lima kaya tahimik at seryoso lang din silang naglalaro kasama ko.

"You know boss that I can always ask Naomi to visit her so you can video call AeiAei. I know you can't contact her for almost a month now. Grabe mapapraning na ako kung ako yan." (si Lawton)

"Isang buwan na lang halos manganganak na sya Gosu. Anong plano mo?" (si Tommy)

"I'm going home. Tinatapos ko lang yung mga assessments natin at mag rerequest ako ng mas maagang finals para makauwi ako."

"Pero nakablacklist ka sa mga airports ah? Paano ka lalabas ng bansa?" (si Rex)

I finished my turn first bago ko sila hinarap.

"I don't fvcking care kung black listed ako. I'm a goddamn royalty. I can pull some strings legally pero kung hindi pa yun sapat, I'll use my connections underground. I already missed the chance to be a part of her pregnancy, hindi na ako papayag na pati sa panganganak nya ipagkakait nila sa akin. If they are gonna shoot me, I'll shoot them first. That's my goddamn family. That's the birth of my first child, ipaglalaban ko yun."
