Jennifer's POV

Time few by quickly and just with a blink of an eye, it was time for the swearing-in. My mom had already organized everything for me. The dress I will wear, my make-up, my hair style; you name it. For her, it is the time her daughter became an adult but for me, it is the time I take over from my father, the great, Lucas Coast and to make sure I don't let my family down.

I sat down on the stool felling numb because my dear mom refused for me to even apply a simple powder to my face on my own. I should really savour this moment because this might probably be the last time I wear such I elegant dress.

As soon as I they finished, I could not believe who I saw in the mirror. I looked like an angel descending from above to come and bless he people here on earth. My black hair had been rolled up with hair pins holding them, my make-up was just magnificent. I thanked all of them form the bottom of my heart.

I really need to stop acting so soft if I want to survive in this business. so I have seen from my dad and my brother. Andres always helped by dad in the business as his right hand and. I am a year older than my brother, meaning I am 24 and he is 23. But still he still acts like he is 10 years older than me.

About the fight with my Andres, I won. it was obvious he was making me win because I was a lady but I know he wouldn't show any mercy to any lady is working for our enemies.

I left my room and walk towards the living room where Andres was dressed in Black tuk with his brown hair, that he got form my mom gelled back making him look every handsome.

"I bet any girl would just want to talk to you seeing how handsome you are", I say.

"Oh thanks sis. I would look for my missing rib at this party", he says.

I roll my eyes at his comment and then tug my hand with his and then we walked to the front door ton find our ride waiting for us and then we left to for the venue.

*******

We arrived at the hall for the event. My brother held his hand out for my and in stepped out of the car. I didn't feel anxious of the crowd and the reporters who obviously work for the world of mafia leaders. Being the daughter of the world's greatest mafia leader, you would know that I would have had to appear at major event s my dad went for.

Passing through the crowd, I spot my dad and mom taking with a group of persons who were invited to the ceremony.

Andres and I walked through the crowd ignoring the stares of the people around and moved towards dad.

"And there she is", mom says.

"Meet my daughter, Jennifer Coast", my dad says.

Time to put on my business face.
