hailee smiled as her and her friends sat around the camp fire, all waiting for john b's 'announcement'

she knew he had been trying his hardest to figure out the situation with the royal merchant, taking full responsibility of where his father left off, trying to find the gold that had an unknown location, 150 years later. as much as hailee would've loved helping, she stayed away because of her wanting to stay away from john b after what happened between the pair on the dock

"alright, guys. so, my dads already gonna kill me, so what's this 'mandatory meeting' about?" pope asked, throwing snapped sticks onto the fire.

"i second that, i'm already grounded for not being home for three damn days because of y'all, my gramps are made as hell" hailee said, remembering the reason why, locking eyes with john b who sat across the fire from her, already admiring the girl.

"cos you two were mackinggggg!" JJ said, putting his hands dont to his 'area' humping the air

"shut up before you get pushed into the fire" hailee growled, JJ putting his hands up in defence and sitting down on the log.

john b held up gun fingers, pointing them at JJ to talk.

"might as well tell them man, before we're gassed" JJ said

"ready for this?" he asked, looking around his friends who sat infront of him impatiently.

"yeah" kiara said on behalf of the friends, in a 'duh' tone.

"the gold never went down with the royal merchant" john b said

"seriously! here we go with this again" pope groaned, standing up, wanting to leave

"no no no... hear him out po" JJ said

"it's been here the whole time!" john b said, with a smile on his face.

"it's on the island" he said

"are you serious! oh my god!" kiara and hailee said in unison.

"i'd like to voice my skepticism" pope said

"i'm sure you would pope! may i please present you my evidence, sir" john b said, standing amongst the group

"proceed" pope sighed

"so... in my backpack! i have a letter from denmark tanny" he said, pulling the paper from his backpack

"who the hell is that?" ki asked, hailee agreeing.

"he was a slave, who survived the wreck" he said, earning a shocked 'what!' from ki and hails.

"okay so, slaves weren't mentioned as crew members on the ship, but my dad found out the whole manifest, that was his big discovery" he continued.

"so tanny used the gold as his free get away, and he bought a farm. and that farm is, drumroll please.." he said, causing us all to slap our knees

"tannyhill plantation" he said

"tannyhill!" ki said in shock
