My eyes slowly opened to the room filled with sunlight. I slowly lifted my head and realized I was laying on Damon's chest. He's completely passed out so I figured there's no need to wake him.
I slid out of bed, I looked down and grabbed the bed sheet from the floor using it to cover myself up. I made my way into the bathroom and turned the shower on
I look around for some shampoo and I spot 2 different kinds..there's the axe men's shampoo and then there's the exact shampoo I use, the Paul Mitchell Lavendar Mint shampoo and conditioner..its my favorite and the only one I use.
Why would he have this??
"Good morning" Damon's voice behind me startled me nearly making me fall in the process. He quickly put his hands on my waist to keep me from hitting the ground.
"Don't scare me like that!" I smacked his arm playfully
"Sorry" he chuckled "you look even better in the morning" he came up behind me again and placed kisses along my shoulder and up my neck
"So do you" I've never been too good at the flirt talk but he already likes me so hopefully I can't do anything wrong
"Is that the right one?" he asked as I reached over to grab the shampoo
"what do you mean?"
"Is that the right shampoo? I saw it in your bathroom so I bought it for you to use when you come over" that has got to be the cutest thing I've heard
"how did you know I would come over?" I smirked
"I just bought it hoping that at some point you would" he kissed my forehead before turning and grabbing his shampoo
We finished up our shower and I walked over to my duffel bag to grab the outfit I had brought for today. Its a Sunday and all I needed to do was go to the mall to buy some new clothes for work so a cute simple outfit was all I needed for today.
I brought a pair of dark blue denim overalls with some distressing on the thigh area, under the overalls I went for a simple white over the shoulder tube top that's kind of cropped. Since I would be walking a good amount today I went with black and white adidas. I kept my hair down natural and did some simple makeup with red lipstick to add a pop of color

"Dame, I'm going to the mall to get some clothes" I left my car back at my apartment since Damon had me come to his house after dinner
"what for?" he stood in front of the stove making some eggs and bacon, he hadn't even turned around to look at me yet
"just for work" he finally turned around and put a plate of food in front of me
"okay, let me get dressed" he walked around the island and gave me a kiss on the cheek before going up stairs
It's sweet of him to come with me, I can't remember the last time Tanner went shopping with me
you need to stop comparing him to Tanner
my conscience is right, I don't know why I continue to compare them..obviously it didn't work out with Tanner so I need to get it out of my head. By the time I finished eating the breakfast Damon had made me he had made his way downstairs. He put on a pair of black jeans and a white short sleeved polo shirt and white yeezy's
I spun around in the bar stool I was sitting on to look at him better, he walked up to me, took my hand and had me stand up
"You look gorgeous" he spoke before spinning me around in front of him
"It's a simple outfit" I felt my cheeks blush
"yet you make it look amazing" he brought my hand up and kissed the back of it
"Okay, what about this one?" I walked out of the fitting room for the 3rd time from the 4th store we have been to, he has been so patient the entire time
"you don't even have to try them on babe, you look great in everything" he looked away from his phone every time I walked out in a new outfit
"I have to make sure they fit" I laughed while looking at myself in the mirror, making sure that everything looked right "okay that's everything that I want to get"
"alright I'll wait for you here" he shot me a cute smile before I walked in
I started getting undressed to change into my clothes, I could hear a woman chatting right outside. Normally I wouldn't care to listen but I heard Damon's voice as well.
"Well its nice to meet you Damon" I heard the woman speak, I pushed my feet into my shoes and grabbed the clothes that I had tried on "would it be too direct of me to ask for your number?" she asked as I opened the fitting room curtain
"ready babe?" He got up quickly, grabbing my purse beside him along with the bags of clothes from the previous stores we had been to, he walked up to me and took the clothes from my hand
"yes thank you" he kissed my cheek and turned to walk to the register, I hooked my hand in his arm and shot a petty smile at the woman left standing in the sitting area glaring at us walk past her
"do you want to get some lunch from the food court?" Damon held the bags of clothes in one hand, and my hand in his other one
"yes please, trying on clothes really gets you hungry" I wrapped my other hand around his arm, I haven't been this happy in a while. It feels so refreshing
We walked up to chipotle and placed our order, my favorite thing to get here is the bowl..its practically the only thing I order now. We grabbed our food and found a small table to sit at.
"I'm going to head to the bathroom, I'll be back" again he kissed my cheek before walking away
I started digging into my meal, I was so hungry by this point that I couldn't wait any longer. Its been a really fun day with Damon today, its more fun shopping with someone than it is to shop alone.
"You must be Rachel" the familiar voice took my attention off of my food, I looked up to see him sitting in the seat right in front of me
