So, this takes place after Blaine "man-hugs" Barry. Barry is going to the crime scene. I'm just going to just not get into the science stuff because I don't know forensics, especially forensics that forensic scientists do in robberies and stuff.

Barry's POV

I began to jog to the scene of the crime at a normal human pace since it was only two blocks away. The gas station was a normal gas station. Cars rushed past—no doubt in a hurry to get to their destination— as police cruisers were parked at the spots near the entry of the mini-mart. "Hey Joe," I said as I ducked under the yellow tape.

He looked at me as if he was genuinely shocked I arrived relatively quickly. "Hey Barr. You're not that late today, huh?" He asked as he handed me my equipment.

"Not today. Hey, looks like we found semen and fecal matter in the victim's ear canal"

Joe looked at me, incredulous. "Shit, for real?" he asked.
I looked at him, with a cheeky smile. "Nah, Joe— I'm just quoting John Mulaney." Joe rolled his eyes and playfully shoved my shoulder.

"Get to work, kid" He said, walking over to to the other officers on site. I collected the evidence I found on the crime scene, giving the case back to Joe before I left in a reasonable time frame.

As I left the gas station, I pulled out my phone, scrolling through my contacts. I never actually deleted any contacts unless I was completely positive that the number was no longer used. I found Blaine's name and called his number since I was still walking and texting while walking isn't exactly safe.

"Hello?" Blaine asked as he answered the phone.

"Hi Blaine, it's Barry," I said, stopping at the corner of an intersection. I stood at the corner like one of those lost tourists who don't know where they're going.

"Oh hey Barry. What's up?" He asked.

"I just finished that case a few minutes ago. If you want, I can meet you guys at your hotel and we can start there?" I asked. He agreed and gave me the hotel address. After a few seconds I spoke again, "I don't have a car by the way, so is it fine if we take yours? It'll be a long walk otherwise."

"Yeah, no problem Barry," He replied. We said our goodbyes and ended the call. Since their hotel was surprisingly close, I just continued to walk at a normal pace, enjoying the sights of Central City, and arrived at their hotel within 30 minutes.

I sent a text to Blaine and soon enough, both men exited out the lobby's elevators. "Hey Blaine, Kurt. Ready to go?" They both nodded—Kurt somewhat hesitant— and we started to head out to the car. I showed them all around the city and the last stop we made was STAR Labs. I gave Kurt directions on where to park since he was driving. I brought them to our main entrance. "So, this is STAR Labs, the source of the particle accelerator explosion a few years ago." They both looked around in interest, though I can see their hesitancy being their.

Kurt looked at me, suspicion clear on his face. "Are you sure we're allowed back here? The signs literally say this institution's closed." Blaine nodded, agreeing with his husband, and looking at me with a curious face.

"Uh yeah," I began, rubbing the back of my neck, "STAR Labs treated me when I was in a coma and, uh, I kind of own it now." I looked at their faces, both of them frozen in shock.

Kurt shook out of his stupor first, still completely shocked, but also looked concerned. "W-wait. Coma? When were you in a coma?" Blaine was still standing there, frozen, staring at me as if I would disappear the moment he blinks.

"Yeah, I was hit by lightning the night of the explosion and was in a coma for nine months." I saw pity become present in Kurt's eyes, so naturally, I countered it with a joke because I cover my hurt with humor. "Awww, were you concerned for me, Hummel? Wow, don't I feel special?" I added a playful wink at the end to show I was just joking. Kurt let out a small smile and shook his head. "So do you guys want to go in?" Kurt nodded and we started walking around the lab. At this point, Blaine finally recovered from his shock.

"Wait a minute," he said to me as we walked through one of the lab's hallways. "You own this place? How?"

I stopped for a second so I can think of how to explain it. "I, uh, long story short, Dr. Wells confessed to being my mother's murderer and left the lab to me in his will." The husbands looked at me once again in shock. "Yeah. Crazy, right?" I began walking again until we reached the speed lab. "So this is what we call the 'Speed Lab.' It's where we do a lot of our physical experiments related to velocity. Our chemical labs are in another part of the site, we can stop by later if you guys want." We walked around the speed lab, Blaine and Kurt looking in interest at the high-tech equipment around the room. Suddenly, a blue portal materialized in the middle of the room. Blaine and Kurt jumped back, scared. Two people stepped out of the portal. I smiled at the new arrivals.

Blaine stepped out, very confused as he studied both figures. "Marley? Ryder?"

Remember when quarantine wasn't a thing? Me neither.

Anyway, should Oliver be part of this story? So far, I have him as a plus one guest to the reunion. Do you think it's a good idea? Please leave a comment!
