I sit by my window every morning  and watch as the sun rises.

Its once beautiful, heart capturing, golden colour has lost its effect on me.

Now it only makes me remember that you are not here.

I tried many times to stay away from my window.

To not watch as the sun rise in the morning and sets at night,

but it calls to me, reminding me that one day I will see you.

I stand in our favourite spot every afternoon.

The spot by the lake you loved so much.

It fills my heart with joy everytime I am here,

because this is the one place that my memories becomes clear.

Standing here with my arms wrapped around myself wishing it was yours,

I find that my heart is filled with longing instead of joy.

Then the wind wraps itself around me, reminding me that one day I will see you.

I lie in our bed every night and hold onto your favourite shirt  with all my might.

It's the most loneliest place of them all, yet I lie here wishing you would call.

Then I smell your scent and feel a ghostly kiss upon my cheek,

reminding me that one day I will see you.

I place the flowers on the ground where you were layed to rest.

I tell you about my day, and how it has been since you left.

I smiled as I walk away,

because I know in my heart that one day I will see you again.
