meadow was in her small mushroom house baking bread when we suddenly heard a knock on the door causing her to jump. she made her way to the door and opened it to reveal fauna standing there with a large leaf basket containing small jars of jam "i heard you lived here so i thought id visit! hope you dont mind!" fauna says with a bright smile causing meadow to blush a little. "of course not! come in!" meadow replied before before making way for her to enter the modest home. fauna stops there for a moment, admiring the house before turning around and smiling at meadow. meadow smiles back and walks back into the kitchen before taking out the bread and setting it down on the counter. while meadow cuts the bread fauna sets her leaf basket down and takes out the jam, setting the four jars on the small wooden table. meadow turns around and smiles, noticing the jam.
"did you bring these for me?" fauna nods, smiling softly
meadow giggles "thank you so much! did you make them?" fauna smiles brightly "mhm!''
they put the jam on the bread and enjoyed it, all while chatting about random things. once they finished meadow cleaned up as gains pondered for a minuite "what do you do for fun?" she asks meadow all of a sudden. meadow pondered for a moment before turning around "mostly I just bake and sew and stuff. it's not very exciting hehe-" she replies
"well what about your friends?" fauna asks. meadow hesitated, looking down sadly. "i don't don't have many friends.." she replies softly. fauna stops for a moment before smiling "I'll be your friend!" she exclaims "r-really..?" meadow chokes out "of course! um..by the way w-would you like to go stargazing with me?" she asked suddenly causing meadow to freeze up before responding "that sounds amazing! its a date!" she says without thinking causing fauna to blush madly. meadow cocks her head in confusion "are you alright?" she asks "y-yeah I'm good! um- meet me at the honeydew hill at 8:00!" she says before grabbing her basket and rushing out of the house. meadow stands their for a while processing what just happened before she smiles brightly and rushes to her room to get ready.
