The sky was dark and the wind was fierce. Once the flourishing town of Vemora where even winters felt like spring, where the children ran around the streets and the people never slept with their bellies unfilled, where women had the grace of the mighty and men had the valour of the knights, is now rumbling in the dust of an evil ruler, Octivian.
"We cannot let her slip away, Catch her!" The General shouted, as the army paced on the back of their horses riding through the streets to kill the Woman who was the reason of Vemora's boon but now it's bane.
The Queen raced her horse through the narrow streets of her town, those streets which used to be filled with stalls of bread and flowers were now empty and dark, those people who were the very reason of the liveliness of the kingdom were now controlled over by greed, treachery and lust.
As soon as she heard the voice of the General from behind , she sped up the horse with all her force. She had to live no matter what , not for herself but for her unborn seed.
The people peeked from their houses that their queen was running for her life, that very Queen Miranda, who dedicated all of her life to the well being of her people, was now running like a doe which was being hunted.
When King Theadus died ,pregnant Miranda selflessly committed herself to the throne and her kingdom, taking every inch of her responsibility sincerely for the people of Vemora, but it was short lived.
The childhood companion and the adviser to the Great Theadus- Octivian, after Theadus's death, rolled his dice to win the throne of his friend and from there began the journey of the downfall of Vemora.
The Queen after her husband's death confided in Octivian, he gave her love and she gave him the kingdom by marrying him. Octivian's behaviour started changing the moment he was hailed as the King, slowly he started taking control over the kingdom and gradually beyond it by attacking and winning over those continents which were once the allies of Vemora.
When Miranda protested and raised her voice against such tyranny, he locked her up, where she suffered a miscarriage.
Octivian by then became the ruler of half of the world, he married the daughter of the King of Wocalvia, and with their help he gradually extended his empire even to the lands of the mages, the witches, the sorcerers who were all under his command.
On the other side of the Castle, Miranda who was once the daughter of the Phoenix of Silva born from the ashes of her mother, was now crumbling under the burden of her own choices. Miranda wanted to call upon Death with every passing day to take her life away but she couldn't, one thing stopped her from doing so.
"Do we have to do this?" mumbled a soldier from far behind, his footsteps ascending towards Miranda's dungeon. "Yes, that's the King's order. the prophecy said she and her seed inside her womb will be the reason for the downfall of the King ." the other one replied.
Miranda on the other hand overheard them and pretended to be asleep as soon as the soldiers stopped by her door. She knew that her seed was inside her all this time, The Phoenix are born with the capabilities to give birth to their offspring according to their will or save the seed in their womb and discard the half grown infant in the times of threat, and once assured that there's no underlying cause to any such threat the seed can grow out a new body into the mother's womb ,that is why Phoenix are always blessed with daughters. She had to discard her infant's body and hoax her miscarriage so that it could buy her some time to plan her escape. She now knew, that the time has come.
The Prophecy says that only the seventh generation Phoenix of the Silva Clan are born with impeccable Magical powers which could change the course of history, She had to save her daughter- Augusta, no matter what.
