It's getting worse and worse. The pain. But hey...I tell myself...it's the last week of school. It will be over in the blink of an eye....and soon, I will be on my flight to the United Kingdom.
I look into my bedroom mirror, wiping the tears off my cheeks. Everyday. I sigh.
"Sky !!! Come down this instance!" My mother. Chills trace my body. I grab my spectacles from the dresser and head downstairs. As I am eating my breakfast, the morning sky splits into drizzles and by the time I have to leave for school, the clouds are pouring to the ground.
I look at mother. "Walk." is the only thing she says.
I wish the inventor of the umbrella had seen such a rain for it was completely useless until it got stuck onto an electric pole on my way to school, and now the umbrella was giving shade to the pole.
So I walked in the morning rain thinking about all my life till today and how I was soon going to leave it all behind, I swallowed down hard as the rain unmercifully swallowed me whole.

"Mom didn't drop you?" It was Mel. "No." "Dad?" "No." I slammed my locker shut. I don't know why she expected them to drop me, after knowing my family for 8 years. I spun to my side, bumping into long silver hair. Sage. She threw me a smile and we all walked to class together.
Sage, Mel, Paris and Maya were my first best friends in this school. I was an A-grade student...and guess what that made me? Yes, you guessed it right...a target for bullying. Not a whole lot though. I was considerably popular for a nerd.
Engulfed by my thoughts, I committed the blunder of crashing into him...Aiden Scott. No, he wasn't the captain of the football team. No, he wasn't very popular or very smart. Only, the love of my life for 8 whole years.
He looks down at the floor. I do the same. And just like that, the moment is over.

I come out of my last class of the day and one of the guys come up to me to say "Aiden wants to speak to you...alone...in the cafeteria..."
