Chapter 10: Run

*One Month Later* *3rd POV*

Everyone was eating breakfast in the kitchen. Everyone was doing well, Tony was talking to Anthony more, asking him for tips on his inventions, and Anthony would make sure Tony got sleep. The Avengers knew of Percy and Loki's relationship, though they thought nothing of it. Thor and Loki were still the brother duo, with their regular bickering of course, though Loki was acting more normal. No one talked about it but it was like Loki was more... human. He wore his hair in a bun more often, wore normal t-shirts and jeans, and even played Overwatch with Clint from time to time. Steve and Percy have a good friendship, though no one knew about her relation to Peggy. But... Percy. She was the only Avenger absent from the breakfast table.

That was until she ran into the room, teary-eyed, with her phone in hand. Loki was the first to stand, "Percy is everything okay?" Loki then walked over to her and hugged her. "It's okay. Just breath."

"I... I got a voicemail from my cousin. While I was in the shower. Just... listen." She put her phone onto the table and hit play on the voice mail.

"Percy... call me when you get this. I just need to know that you're okay. Percy... I just got back from another meeting with the council. And... they know that you're alive. Thanatos tried to cover for you but... somehow they found out. Percy, they're looking for you. They're sending hordes of campers. Kill on sight. Percy please call me back."

The voicemail ended and the team looked to the green-eyed girl. "I didn't understand most of that, but, what can we do?" Natasha said.

"Clint?"

"I'll go get the kids." Clint said standing and heading out of the kitchen. Tony, surprisingly stood up, "I can get an iron legion to help get you to a safehouse."

"Tony you don't understand... My family can and will flatten the country looking for me. Robots aren't going to do a thing."

"Then let me get you a private air team to get you somewhere safe."

"That won't do anything either. Just let me get to my cousin and I can go from there. I've ran away from my family before. I can do it again."

"Damn it Seaweed Brain I just want to help protect you in some way!" Tony was quiet after that, looking at his shoes. Percy just looked at him in awe, still shaking.

"How do you know that nickname?"

"I..."

"HOW DO YOU KNOW?!"

"Because Percy I'm possessed... By Anthony Chase." Tony said looking up at her with sad eyes. She just looked back with a mix of anger, confusion, and disbelief.

"We can talk about this later. Right now we need to get on the Quinjet, and get to your cousin. Where does she live?" Steve asked, standing like everyone else.

"We can't go to Arty. She is to close to my family. We need to get to Alaska."

Everyone was in the Quinjet, the Avengers, and the kids. Natasha was piloting, though soon the coordinates were entered and the Quinjet went on autopilot. Natasha then went to the main control room to talk with the rest of the team. "So can someone please explain what the hell is going on?"

Percy started to explain her life to everyone, answering some questions as she went along. It ended with her joining shield. She looked at Loki who just had a look of understanding on her face. Bruce then spoke, "So, wait Tony said that he's possessed." 

"I think Tony should explain that cause even I don't know." Percy said, "Honestly I don't even believe him."

"What would make you believe?" Tony asked desperately.

"What's the first thing you ever said to me?" Percy asked, interrogating Tony. Tony however, looked down and when his head raised his eyes were now the stormy grey she once loved with all her being. Tony's skin got tanner and his overall demeanor changed.

Tony gave a small smirk and said, in a voice that only Percy recognized, "That you drool in your sleep."

Almost everyone in the room was shocked and started to back away from Tony. Though Percy just ran up and hugged him. After that Tony or Anthony as he is now, explained how this all came to be, Thanatos had helped him escape and he possessed the nearest person. After that everyone dispersed to do their own things. Loki just sat down and was deep in thought, while Percy went to stand by Anthony. He was looking at their children, they were three years old though to Anthony they were just newborns. "I'm sorry that I left you." Percy said.

"I'm genuinely glad that you moved on. I wanted you to. I didn't want you to mourn me for the rest of your life."

"Go talk to them."

"What?"

"Go talk to your children."

"They... I can't. Seaweed Brain, this isn't their father, their father burned up in an explosion four years ago." He said turning to the raven haired girl.

"I don't care. Do you remember how I was before I met Poseidon. I was a mess. They deserve to know who their father is."

Anthony sighed in defeat and walked over to the twins. All Percy could hear was him saying, "Hey there you two." Before she walked away to talk with Loki. One love for the next. "How are you Starfish?"

"How do you think I feel, my whole life is taken again, my dead fiance is possessing my co-worker and-"

"Hey. You still have me." Loki said kissing her hand.

"I know Trickster. I just wish my life was a little more normal."

From the cockpit Nat yelled, "Maybe it can be in Alaska. We're landing now!"
