Letters of the heart: I See YOU

Hello there beautiful! This is the first letter I've ever written. I hope you enjoy it, and may it leave you as a friend, for it came to you as a stranger. Don't be shy to let me know what you think!

I see you

You're in pain

I see you
Just like everyone else, your starving
You starve to be a good person, but you find it difficult.

I see you
Trying to be good
But every single time you try
It turns around and slaps you in the face, as if what you had to give wasn't needed, appreciated, or "good enough"

So society sees you
YOU , whose broken from all the trying
It asks you, why are you trying?
Just have fun, forget it all, give up!
YOLO! Right?

So now you seat there
Alone
In the darkness, which is your mind
You hate this place! You hate being here!
Because it's reminds you of who your supposed to be
and it tells  you in a soft voice:
Are you happy?
Are you proud of who you have become?
Please... Don't lie to yourself

I see you
Struggling to not listen, because it's all too much.

I see you
Looking for a way to drown that voice of guilt

I see you
Hurting yourself, in every way possible

I see you
Trying to hold on to that so called "cure" society is selling to every "sick" person

I see you
Knowing the truth, but not wanting to face it.
Because the truth hurts, like holding on to hot metal ropes.

So you let go, thinking this will save you

And I still see you
With that growing hole in  your heart, and your trying to fill it with everything, but the reality of who your ment to be.

And oh, how I wish
You could see me

Me, who's trying to tell you to hang on to who you're truly ment to be

Me, who's
telling you to fight till your last breath, and I will fight right next to you

Me, who wants to see you at peace

Me, who wants you to always smile brightly, and remember that I'll always be there for you for as long as I breath

Me, who prays that even when I'm not there, you will always find the strength to stand on your own two feet.

Me, who continuously prays

That you never lose your beautiful self
