MERIELLE'S POV

As I read on, I found myself reading more about the demons (Lucifer and his six brothers). I feel like I had made a real, deep connection with them sometime in the past during those of my years in Devildom. It says so right here in this notebook that the two exchange students from the human world that are sent to Devildom are Solomon and me, Merielle.

I can't believe I just lost my memory of that year! Of all memories! I feel like I lost a really important part of my life! I have to find out more about what happened to me there. Maybe Amadio knows. He gave hints about this treasure chest and it is a part of my past. I should ask him tomorrow. Force him to do it if I have to.

    *BANG!*

I turned with a shocked look on my face to see that a strong gust of wind opened my window. Too strong that it even destroyed its lock! I stood up and ran towards the door. I squinted my eyes and saw that someone is heading straight towards here. I tried opening the door.

"Ugh! Jammed?!" I said sounding irritated.

I looked at the silhouette of someone flying towards me. Is that even possible? A person... flying? Well, after everything I read in that notebook, I suppose anything is possible, right? But it could just be made up! The picture could have been edited or something. I don't know what to believe now, to be honest.

The silhouette is getting closer and I just stared at it as it finally reached the house, and entered my room through the open window. I didn't move to where I was. Whoever this is, he is wearing a long, black, hooded cloak that covers his entire body.

"Wh-who are you?" I asked softly.

He lifted his hood and looked at me with a genuine smile.

"Hmm... I see that you have forgotten about me," the man that I just saw his face in the notebook said.

"Y-you're Solomon," I said a bit nervously. "The wicked sorcerer."

He smiled a bigger smile at me. "Correct," he said. "I was one of those who are chosen to go to RAD to be an exchange student for a year."

He then studied me. He looked at me from head to foot and chuckled.

     "What's s-s-so funny?" I stammered.

"Why do you look like you just saw a lower-level demon that is about to eat you?" he asked.

     "You're a w-w-wicked s-s-sorcerer. Of course, I-I'd be scared," I said.

He laughed and moved towards my bed and picked up the leather notebook.

"They only call me a wicked sorcerer, because I made pacts with seventy-two demons, Merielle," he explained which made me at ease for a bit. "But I don't remember ever trying to hurt you even before. If it would make you more at ease, I would let you know that last year, while we were exchange students at the Royal Academy of Diavolo or RAD, while you were staying at the House of Lamentation with the seven demon brothers, I was in Purgatory Hall living with the two exchange students from Celestial Realm. They were-"

"Angels," I cut in. "They were angels that were chosen by Archangel Michael to be exchange students of the Celestial Realm to Devildom."

"So, do you remember?" Solomon asked.

I shook my head. "No. I just read it from the notebook."

Solomon looked at the notebook then said, "Amadio is right. This would help you get a clue somehow just in case the seven demons' gifts wouldn't jog your memory."

My eyes widened with shock. "You know Amadio?"

"Why yes! He is also a sorcerer. A friend of mine. I'm sorry he can't be here now. He is back in New York. That is where he lives and has no interest in seeing you tonight."

     "Oh," I said with disappointment.

     "What's the matter?" Solomon asked.

"I was hoping I could ask him something," I said.

"Like what?" he asked his fingers on his chin.

"Like how come he was allowed to become an exchange student for such short notice," I said.

A crow cawed from the distance and landed on the floor of my room. Light surrounded it and transformed into someone I just saw in the notebook.

"Hey, hey, hey! The Great Mammon is here!" he announced with big smiles in his demon form.

Beside Mammon, a bat flew in. It stayed mid-air inside my room and just like Mammon's crow, light surrounded it and transformed to another person... or more like a demon... that I just saw inside the page of the notebook that Solomon is holding right now.

"Would you shut up, Mammon?" Lucifer said and hit Mammon on his head hard. Even he is in his demon form.

"OW! Oww... that hurts, ya know?" Mammon complained.

"If you don't shut up now, there will be more of that," Lucifer told his brother.

"I'm sorry, 'kay?" Mammon said. "I was just really excited. I mean, the last time we saw Merielle was when we took her to that human-world hospital and left her there before anyone starts asking annoyin' questions!"

I looked at Mammon. "Wait... WHAT?"

Lucifer sighed, "Why did you always have to be so stupid, Mammon?"
