*Yukina's POV*

Yukina's House,
The Next Day Before School

"You're... whaaa?" Lisa seemed shocked.

I'm talking to Lisa on the phone. I decided to talk to her before classes to get some help.

"What, is it a bad idea, Lisa?" I asked.

"No, I'm just surprised. A date? At a croquette shop? How... interesting."

"Well, you may have a point. But it's going to be fun. It's the thought that counts."

"Ahaha, right," Lisa laughed. "So after school, you'll be with (Y/N) at the croquette shop."

"Right. It'll be a date to remember," I told her.

"Good luck. May the goddess of buns bless you," Lisa said.

"Divine power is certainly one thing I need," I replied. "But I can make the date go smoothly on my own!"

After School, Later That Day...

*(Y/N)'s POV*

Ahh, that was a nice day at school. More spending time Yukina-chan. She's such an angel.

...And she's taking me on a date?!
She hasn't said where. Where could it be?

My mind is racing...

A romantic dinner at nighttime, just us over two drinks, staring into each other's eyes, confessing our love over and over...?

Or, how about the hill side, overlooking the sunset? Then, as the sun finally hides itself under the horizon, her and I share a well-timed kiss?

Ohh, the anticipation is killing me!
Yukina-chan makes my heart and my mind go at quadruple speed!

I did just spend a lot of money at the best store in town, but it's for something else.

We arrived at the a small restauraunt downtown.
"We're here," Yukina-chan cheerily said.

"A m-meat shop? This is our...?"
I'm stunned. I'm not unhappy or displeased, but Yukina-chan chose this?

A girl with bright orange hair greeted us.
"Welcome! Our specialty is our croqu--"

She stopped in the middle of her sentence .
"Silver hair? Oh, you must be Minato Yukina, the girl who..."

She whispered something to Yukina-chan, who nodded.
The orange-haired girl looked at me and smiled.

"Pleased to have you here, (Y/N)-senpai.  You may sit anywhere."

Whoa, her demeanor changed fast!
First, Yukina-chan's dad, and now this girl?

We sat down at a table, just the two of us.
I looked around, and no one else was there. Slow day, probably.

Yukina-chan reached across the table and grabbed my hand.

"(Y/N), I chose this place on purpose," she told me. "I know you probably expected a candlelit dinner, but they were really expensive. Luckily, Kitazawa-san gave me an offer, half prices because we're on a date."
