I walked with Leo to our dad's house, trying to stop him. Leo wanted to ask our dad for money, so he could get more red ice. I knew Leo shouldn't get the money, and I knew that our dad wouldn't give him the money so I was going to stop him before there was another arguement.
I wrapped my gray trench coat, that fell until mid-thigh around me, around me. It was chilly for November. I, unfortunately, decided to wear a black t-shirt before looking at the weather. At least my legs were warm in my black jeans. My boots hit the pavement as I caught up to my brother.
I grabbed Leo's shoulder as we neared to the entrance of dad's house, "Leo, you can't ask our dad for money!"
Leo brushed my hand off, "Like hell I cant." He walked inside the house with me trailing behind.
We entered to our dad's painting room where we saw Markus painting. Markus was our dad's android, but our dad loved Markus like a son, me and brother both knew this. I was grateful for Markus being there for my dad when I couldn't, but Leo was jealous of Markus.
"Oh my god," Dad said, looking at Markus' painting.

"Ah, we were in the neighborhood. We thought we should stop by, it's been a while, right?" Leo lied, and I put my head down in shame.
It has been a few weeks since I had seen my dad. I couldn't see him because I was so busy with work and could never find any free time. Unlike my brother, I actually want to spend time with my dad and not want his money.
"You all right? You don't look so good." Carl asked, directing his question towards Leo.
"Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Hey listen, uh, I need some cash, Dad." Leo says and I shake my head.
