Since I joined Wattpad, I've been writing short stories, getting my feet wet. It has been years since I've written anything on a fanfic site and I true enjoy writing and sharing my work with others. This is the first chapter story that I'm sharing on this app and I'm hoping that it will get a lot more readers. (A lot more than just 8-9 views). So here's hoping that I'm as good a writer as I think I am.

Excerpt:Waves crashed on the shore as the red orange sun set before her. Keith held her in his arms as the warm sand ran between her toes. The sound of their three children playing brought a smile to her face. Their oldest son played tag with his sister as the baby played with her toy bucket and shovel digging up seashells. It was peaceful. Jordin had never felt more at peace in her life.

"This is beautiful, Babe," Keith said. He leaned down and kissed her on the cheek. Drops of the salty water still coated his skin, leaving a bit of salt on her cheek. She didn't mind.

"I know. I could stay out here forever."

Keith pulled her in closer, wrapping his arms tighter around her neck.

"As long as you're with me, Babe, I can stay anywhere forever."

Jordin turned around to look her husband. She stared into dark brown eyes that warmed her soul and her heart. The sun reflected off of his rich dark chocolate skin. He looked almost edible. A smile came to her face as she leaned up to kiss him. It was the sweetest and warmest kiss Jordin had ever felt.

"I love you, Jordin. I always have," he whispered.

Jordin pulled away and stared not into eyes that were no longer dark brown but light brown with hints of green. No longer was his shade a rich chocolate but a creamy latte. His beautiful eyes reflected the love she felt for him. She smiled up to him and said, "I love you too, CJ."
