━━━━ IN THE EARLY morning hours, on May 2nd, 1998 the Battle of Hogwarts occurred. It was the battle that ended Tom Riddle's reign of terror for good. It was a day of triumph, where good won over evil but it was also a day of tragedy for there was a great loss of life on both sides. There are those who are remembered like Fred Weasley, Colin Creevey, Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin, but those were not the only casualties. There were at least fifty more people who sacrificed their lives so that evil would not win. This is their story.

i. Obviously JK Rowling owns Harry Potter. However, I do own the original characters mentioned throughout and their storylines. I also own some of the spells that are used, if you find one interesting and would like to use it, feel free too BUT in that case I do expect credit to be given. Don't be THAT person.
ii. This story literally takes place during a battle, so it is going to be violent and will probably include graphic descriptions of horrible ways to die. Consider yourself warned.
iv. For those who remember this story, it was on my old profile (which I shall not name), so don't worry, I didn't plagiarize it lol. It was previously known as Rosemary in the Ruins but I felt like that was really long and didn't fit it the way I wanted it to. The first chapter was probably written in 2017, and I've only made minor changes since republishing (I don't feel like rewriting it lmao), so hopefully the writing in the following chapters improves.
