chapter 1

Addison's POV
I woke up to the obnoxious loud sound of the alarm I had set the previous day. I roll over and force my eyes open to look at the time. It was 6:50. School started at 8:00, 10 more minutes, I thought to myself. So I rolled back over and closed my eyes. After what felt like seconds the alarm went off again. "Your kidding right", I muttered under my breath. Then I once again rolled onto my side to see that infact it was 7:00. I groaned as I forced myself to stand up. I made my way across the room to my dresser and picked out what I was going to wear on the first day back. (picture at the top) I honestly didn't care enough to get all dressed up just to go to school so I just picked out a black crop top, and a pair of camo pants. I set the clothes on the top of my dresser , and when back over by my bed to grab my phone. It constantly kept vibrating, so I turned on the screen to look at all the notifications. They were all coming from our Imessage group chat I had made with a bunch of my friends. I unlocked my phone so I could see what was up. I had got a message from my best friend Charli. Charli and I have been best friends for so long that I just stopped counting.

I then opened the group chat by the name, "The Peeps", and scrolled up to read some of the messages.

Hey guys!

I turned my phone off and put it on my night stand and made my way the the bathroom. I shut the door, and turned on the shower. I made sure I didn't take to long because I still had to do my hair and makeup. When I got out I wrapped a towel around me and walked back into my room. I grabbed the pile on clothes and sat on the edge of my bed. After I was fully clothed I sat down at my vanity and put on a pretty casual makeup look. I was debating whether I should blow dry my hair, or just let it be. I looked back at the clock, 7:45, so I decided to let it air dry today. I eventually gathered all my stuff, put my phone in my back pocket, and scrambled down the stairs. My mom was sitting on the couch reading a book. "Hey sweetheart", she said in a calm voice. "Hey mom, I'm just gonna eat real quick and then i'll be ready to head out", I said in response, while rushing into the kitchen. I poured myself a bowl of Lucky Charms, my favorite cereal, then I'm pretty sure I ate it as fast as humanly possible. I walked back out to where my mom was sitting, milk dripping down my chin. "There was no need to rush lovey, we've still got about 7 minutes," she said slightly grinning at me trying to wipe off the milk with my side arm. At that I walked to the bottom step where I has set my backpack, and grabbed it putting it onto my back. We headed out to the car, and she started driving. On the way I casually scrolled through my TikTok, and soon enough we arrived at school.
