"I'll take the bullet for the other people here." He said and he grinned at her making her roll her eyes at him.
"Gusto mo lang ng chismis eh." She told him making him laugh.
"Then pretend like I'm your friend." Wow. He's really persistent.
"Teka nga, bakit ko naman sasabihin problema ko sayo?" She asked him.
"Bakit hindi?" He asked back.
"Anong bakit hindi, eh hindi nga kita kilala eh." She told him. And she's starting to think that he's crazy.
"Then that's better. Dahil hindi rin kita kilala, hindi ko ipagkakalat kung ano mang sasabihin mo."
Vivian understood what he meant. He has a point. But still...
"But it still feels weird. I'm pretty sure I don't want to let this out, but something in my mind wants to tell this."
Don't talk to strangers. That's a warning everyone knows but this guy kept telling her things that makes her want to let her problem out to a stranger. She's about to turn around and ignore the guy when he spoke again.
"So you can be at peace. I'm pretty sure naguguluhan ka or something like that." He told her as he observed her face.
"Halatang halata talaga na problemado ako no?" She asked and look at her phone to check how she looks like. She looks okay, but her eyes looked a bit swollen. She still looks pretty, though.
"For a normal person seeing you, no. You look fine. But I can see that you're showing signs of a problematic person."
"Wait lang, tagalog muna. Englishero na nga yung tinuturuan kong bata kanina eh, one at a time lang." She told her and he chuckled.
Why is he speaking in constant english? He doesn't look like a foreigner. Though he's like a half-half when looking at him closely. Half chismoso. She suddenly thought.
"Sorry, medyo napapansin ko kasi kapag tinitignan kita."
She nodded. "Siguro alam mo agad kung nagtatampo sayo yung girlfriend mo."
Beau grinned briefly while he remembered what happened earlier. He knew that Adelaide was sullen but he didn't do anything to stop it, and now, it got worse and he doesn't even know where she is or if she's still at the park. He could've done something but instead, their conflict got worse and he felt bad again.
He smiled at the woman in front of him. "Not always."
She took a sip from her coffee and started talking.
"I feel weird about this." Who wouldn't?
"Then you should've stopped sighing." She glared at him.
"I can stop myself kahit hindi ako mag open up sayo. This is weird and unrealistic."
"Yet here you are talking." He plainly said. He sounds annoying but at the same time, intelligent.
"Bakit tayo nage-english?" She had to ask. It's not like she's a fluent speaker of the language. Even though one of her student is a native English speaker.
