"Excuse me, but are you sure you're okay? That's like your tenth sigh in, like what? Five minutes? Are you okay?" He asked with a little bit of worry, and a bit of annoyance.
She rolled her eyes and clicked her tongue, annoying Beau even more.
"You know, I don't want to be rude since you were here first, but I really wish whatever it is that you're problematic about, maayos na sana." He told her and she glared at him, but later looked away when she knew he was right. She acts like a mess.
"Tenth sigh? Isang beses lang akong bumuntong hininga." She protested. Surely she didn't sighed 10 times. That's stupid.
"Isa? Sunod sunod kaya yung buntong hininga mo habang nakatulala ka." The guy told her.
"Sorry, medyo magulo lang utak ko." She's not lying. She just can't get something out of her head. Like she was thinking of something, but can't figure it out.
"Why?"
"Chismoso." She told him and he clicked his tongue in irritation.
"Either let it out so you won't disturb others, or suck it up and hide it better so you won't disturb others." He told her.
She glared at him and looked away. Why does he care if she looks bad or feels bad. It's not like she's lashing it out at him. If he wants to, then she would. But that seemed inappropriate and other people would see them.
She looked at the table and saw that some who were seated near them we looking at her. Maybe because that guy caught their attention, or she really did look distressed.
"Bakit kasi sa lahat ng oras na pwede kaming mag away ngayon pa?" She mumbled to herself but the guy heard it.
"Sinong kaaway mo?" He asked her.
"Gusto mo ikaw na awayin ko eh." She told him and his eyebrow raised. Thus guy is really getting on her nerves, but she doesn't want to show it directly. He just sighed and drank his coffee then looked at her again.
"Look, just let it out. If you're gonna suck it up, make sure you can." He told her and she was silent for a few minutes.
Vivian didn't know what to say but she really wanted to let it out. Suck it up. She laughed mentally. If only she could, then she wouldn't be here. And how is she suppose to let it out when she's alone? Should she start screaming? No. She started speaking.
"Paano ko naman ile-let out, sino namang pwede kong kausapin para mailet out ito? Sarili ko?" She pointed at herself. "Parang baliw ganon?" She continued.
"Don't you have any friends here?"
"Hindi ako uupo dito sa long table kung meron." She told him, pointing at the table as if she's pointing out the obvious.
"Well, maybe I can act as one." He suggested and her eyebrow raised.
"Ikaw? Makikinig sa akin?"
This guy is really weird. Is he some kind of paparazzi? A magnet of gossip? Why would she even rant to someone she doesn't know. This isn't one of those moments she read in books where the lead character would open up to some random person and get their problems fixed.
