Just when people start to think that all is right in the world after Mission City, chaos ensures once more. All this chaos is centered around one single person.

If anything it didn't settle the femme, but made her more pitiful for her, "Oh, you poor sparkling," she offered her servo to Holly who inwardly sighed knowing the inevitable outcome as she allowed the femme to pick her up. Firestar cradled her slightly in her servo, "The universe never treated you fairly, did it?"
Holly didn't answer, too busy fighting the embarrassment she felt at being cradled like a baby again, and it didn't help when she caught Ironhide smirking at her.
She focused on the frequencies in the room, and pulled at one filled with horrible human things, and flung the frequency at Ironhide so he would have no choice but to process the frequency before he managed to rid it.
Holly smirked trumpiantly as his face went a light shade of blue, and his optics widened in horror and disgust before he finally managed to get the frequency away from him then he was glaring proudly at her.
"You can let me down now, Firestar," Holly said through a private com-link to the femme who jumped in surprise.
"You have a processor," The femme said in amazement, lowering Holky back to the floor next to Lennox who immediately fretted over her, "How uniquely amazing. You have the appearance of a human sparkling, whilst being mostly Cybertronian underneath."
Holly chuckled, "I'm all about being strange, different and new."
"That you are," Firestar smiled as she spoke outside the com-link, "I will let you rest now, young sparkling. Enjoy the rest of your evening."
"See ya, little red!" Blurr waved to her as Firestar dragged him away, muttering how that she didn't trust him to behave without her there.
"See you, Blurr!" Holly waved after him.
"What was that?" Lennox asked finally.
Holly blinked at him, tilting her head, "What was what?"
"That whole-" Lennox gestured his hands wildly, "-speaking but not speaking thing."
Ironhide spoke for her, "Little Pax here was demonstrating her Cybertronian origins to Firestar. They were speaking through the com-link."
"You can do that?" Lennox asked Holly, staring at her with wide eyes.
"Yeah," Holly rapped her knuckle on her head, not flinching at the pain she processed, "This thing in here isn't just a "brain" it's a processor-" she placed a hand over where a human's heart would be, "-and instead of a heart, I have a spark."
Lennox opened his mouth-
"Please don't ask me how it works," Holly shook her head, "Even I don't know."
"Oh," Lennox nodded, "Anyway, you should be getting back to your mother now."
"Aw," Holly pouted, shifting her face to look just a little upset instead of the wave of sorrow that threatened to flatten her spark at the mere thought of leaving those that were much more similar to her than the humans she had grown up with.
"I guess I'll be seeing you?" She offered to Ironhide.
Ironhide gave her a smile, "See ya, Little Pax."
She waved to him as Lennox led her away, heading back through the human parts to get back to the exit where her mother was waiting.

Holly yawned as the car pulled to a stop outside their house. Feeling, not for the first time, the strain of having a half-human body.
"Are you alright, Holly?" Heather's voice cut through the silence of the car easily.
"Tired," Holly mumbled, unbuckling her seatbelt, "Thanks, ma."
Heather turned off the car, "Come on sweetheart," she got out of the car the same moment Holly managed to. Both shutting their doors quickly.
Heather locked the car as she walked around the car to wrap her arm around her daughter as they walked to the house, "Head straight to bed, alright?"
Holly nodded her head, "Yes, ma. I understand."
"Good," Heather smiled as she unlocked the house. Holly headed straight to her room while Heather headed to the kitchen to clean up from that morning.
Holly's room was fairly simple, a bed on one side of the room, a desk on the other with a bulletin board on the wall. She had a wardrobe, and a couple sets of drawers for clothes and stuff.
Holly fell straight forward from the foot of her bed onto her DC Batfam bedsheets. What? She had liked Batman and this "sidekicks" when she was growing up. A kid was allowed to have a childhood afterall.
She fell asleep quickly, it was always easily for someone like her to fall asleep, all she had to do was shut down parts of her processor that were active while she was awake, and keep the parts of her processor online that was keeping her body alive.
She sunk into the darkness of her own mind with a tired smile on her face.

[Chapter Two: 3089 Words]
Well, it's not a big as the first chapter, but I was really pushing it trying to get over 3k words. I had to add the small scene at the end. And yes, I do aim to get at least 3k words for each chapter.
Yes, Holly has a processor and a spark in a mostly human body. Don't ask me how it works, I'm still trying to figure it out for myself.😂. And yeah, I always thought that since they had processors for brains, that the Cybertronians would be able to "sense" radiowaves around them and be able to listen/hack into them, especially if they were weakly protected such as human ones whereas Cybertronian radiowaves/Cybertronian com-link waves are much harder to breach, except for Holly who has had plenty of practice breaching radiowaves. I'm calling them frequencies instead of radiowaves, cuz they are basically the same thing(to me at least).
