Sometimes she hated how well-tuned she was to her surroundings.

Heather and Holly had to pause when they entered the outer warehouse where the Autobots were free to roam in their original frames, making sure that their small human bodies wouldn't accidentally get squashed by the Cybertronians.
"Ready?" Heather asked her daughter.

"As I'll ever be," Holly shrugged.

Heather chuckled at the reference, "I guess that makes it 487 to 393," she sighed, shaking her head.

"Mom, Mom, Mom," Holly shook her head, amused smile on her lips, "You were the one who challenged a Cyber-Organic to a reference challenge. And it's 487 to 394, you accidentally made a reference to Star Trek with General Kirk's name."

Heather snorted, "I was wondering if we were going to count that," she shook her head, "Anyway-"

“Ms. Fitzroy!” the call of her mother’s name had Holly and her mom turning to the voice, only to see Major Lennox.

"Major Lennox," Heather gave him a polite smile, "I would like to thank you for taking care of my daughter today."

Lennox's cheeks reddened in embarrassment, "it was nothing, ma'am."

"It really was nothing," Holly nodded, "I was a darling angel."

Both adults rolled their eyes at her, and she smiled, "Anyway, thank you, Major Lennox."

Lennox grimaced for a moment, "Actually, a couple bots were wanting to meet Holly, and they sent me to ask."

Holly looked at her mother, "Please mom?" She most certainly did not beg, "Please, can I go meet them?"

Heather looked uncertain, "You have school-"

Holly and Lennox chuckled, "Mom," Holly gave her mother a grin, "It's Friday."

Heather scowled at her, "Oh, alright," she sighed, "But try to keep it short, I do want to sleep in my own bed tonight."

Holly giggled, "I'll make sure she keeps it short, Ms. Fitzroy," Lennox promised.

Heather sighed, "I'll wait in the car, Holly don't go injuring yourself again. We don't was another accident do we?"

Holly paled at the mention, "No, we don't."

Lennox gave them both a look, "I don't think I want to know."

"No, you don't," Heather reassured him.

Lennox winced, "Come on," Holly grabbed his hand, pulling him with surprising strength, "I wanna meet the Autobots properly."

"Properly?" Lennox mouthed to Heather in confusion before his body was forced to follow the eight-year-old.

Heather laughed, and shook her head as she moved towards her car.

"There's the kid!"

Holly grinned at the sound of Ironhide's voice, Lennox was rubbing his arm behind her.

"Hi, Ironhide!" Holly beamed, giving the Autobot a wave.

"This little thing's Optimus's daughter?" A rather energetic blue mech sped around on his heels that were actually tires, "She's so little, and cute!"

"Leave the poor sparkling alone, Blurr," an orange and red coloured femme crossed her arms across her chassis, "I don't think the poor thing will enjoy your presence."

"Aw, come on," Blurr said, pouting, "Everyone enjoys Blurr, right, little one?"

Holly chuckled, "I don't believe that everyone would enjoy you, but I find you amusing."
