Kabanata 21

Gabbi.

Whole day at work is so exhausting, may kaylangan pa akong gagawin ngayon. Its a really TGIF! Walang work bukas thank God!

Today is the fucking day.

My phone beeped and i saw my personal bodyguard calling.

"Hello, Miss? Magpapasundo ka na ba?" He asked.

"No. Not today, Baste. Umuwi ka nalang sa inyo, may gagawin pa ako."

"Osige miss." Sagot nito at pinatay ang tawag.

Naglakad ako sa kalsada sa baba ng tulay kung saang walang tao. God, bakit ang tagal? Its almost dark. I saw some white van, and four ducati cornering me in the road.

I stilled.

"A-Ano ang gagawin nyo?" I asked

My heart pounded at my chest. I never knew this is scary.

"Shut up." Sabi noong laake na may bonet ang buong mukha.

I walked backwards pero may humarang saakin and may biglang tumusok sa braso ko. My vision immediately turned black

I woke up in the unfamillar walls on the room. I scanned and saw a room without windows. Lumapit ako sa pinto and tried to open it but i failed.

"Looks like the woman is now awake." Dinig kong sabi sa labas.

Sisipain ko na sana ang pinto nang bigla itong bumukas. It revealed an unfamillar face kaya tatakbo na sana ako. But he stopped me.

"Saan ka pupunta, huh?" Tanong niyo, my hands are completely shaking!

"Get the fuck off me!" Sigaw ko at sinampal siya ng marahas.

His jaw moved at what i did and he came closer with his dangerous and scary eyes. sinuntok niya ang tiyan ko at napaluhod ako, pinigilan naman siya sa kanyang kasama. Pumikit ako at nawalan na ng malay

I woke up, I have a blindfold in my eyes. I felt like i'm tied to a chair. My ankles and wrists are tied together too.

May humila sa blindfold ko and my blurry eyes started to get clear. Nasa abandonang building kami at nakikita ko ang mga tauhan niya every corner of the building illuminated by the night light. The light is only at my spot. But i can see a sillhouette of a man standing. Its Tito Anthony.

"Hey, dear Gabbi." Sabi nito

"What do you want from me?"  Matapang kong tanong

"It's just that... ang hirap mong kumbinsihin, Gabbi"

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Hindi ka parin ba nahulog kay Dex?" Tumawa ito

What?

"Fuck you! Sinabihan na kitang hindi ako magpapakasal sa kanya."

"Well..." he whispered. Now i noticed na katabi lang niya si Dex

Anthony typed something on his phone then he placed it near his ear

"Hello." He let out an evil laugh

"What do you want, Anthony?" Dad's voice echoed from his phone

"I have something for you"

Nilapit niya ang cellphone niya sakin and i cried.

"Dad! Please help me! Nasa abandonang--" i stopped myself when Anthony pointed his gun at me

"You little rascal! What did you do to my daughter! Sisiguraduhin kong mamamatay ka until the sun rises!"

"Shut up old man!" Sigaw niya

"Parang siya hindi" bulong ko and he gripped on his gun

"You have an hour to be exactly here, Genesis. bring the judge ofcourse for legal process. If you're not here by the struck of midnight. Then expect her head to be hang on the wall" sabi nito at pinatay ang tawag.

"Just fucking let me go! Ano ba ang kaylangan mo sakin matanda!"

He laughed and evil one.

"Your money!" He said in a singing tone "Your company!" he laughed again at tinulak si Dex patungo sakin "Mag usap muna kayo, ikakasal na kayo mamaya." Anthony puffed a cigarette before tumalikod

"Fuck you!" I shouted.

He just chuckled at tinulak nanaman niya si Dex na nasa gilid lang.

Dex immediately came near me with his worried eyes. Lumuhod siya para mapantayan niya ako. Niyakap niya ako at hinagod ang likod ng upuan ko, until i felt my hands loose. Hindi man lang namalayan sa mga tauhan ni Anthony. In my view of sight, isa isang natutumba ang mga tauhan nito without even making a noise! Some dark sillhouette were in my side attacking his men silently and carefully.

"Any minute now." Dex whispered at kumunot ang noo ko.

Dex immediately grunted because of pain kaya agad na lumingon si Anthony.

"What happened here?" He asked, not realizing that he's slowly losing his men
 
"Now" i whispered to Dex nang nakalapit na si Anthony.

Inangat agad ni Dex ang upuan sa ere and it swayed from left to right at nang natama sa aking paa ang dibdib ng matanda, isinipa ko agad iyon at agad natumba ang matanda sa sahig. I stood up as my feet were on the ground. Gunshots were heard after i untied my foot from the rope at agad na tumakbo sa nakitang hallway na kung saan.

"Fuck you!" Rinig kong papawalang sigaw ni Anthony, humabol naman si Dex sakin.

Tumakbo ako pababa sa hagdan and was immediately greeted by his men and looks ready to fight.

I'm no karate kid fuckers!

Sinipa nila agad ang tiyan ko at agad na napaluhod ako sa sakit. Dex immediately fighted as he came downstairs. Sounds of footsteps were heard at agad na nakita ko ang ibang tauhan ni Anthony na tumatakbo patungo sakin, dapat tutulong nadin ako! By running, i could help! it'll be easier!

Tumakbo ako and the last thing i heard were gunshots that made me look at Dex who is now being beated up habang dugong dugo ang kanyang paa before a man dumped on me and a thin and sharp thing spiked inside the flesh of my neck and my sight was getting blurry until it was immediately pitch black.
