On a very quiet, starry night
I found myself
Looking for the scattered pieces;
My soul was lost into the abyss.High hopes had fallen out from within me,
My pores leaked out optimism,
Made me wonder if I could,
If I would be able to be complete again.Your eyes were the brightest stars,
The constellations to my inner being.
So without you, I could not find my way back home.The moon was dull compared to the fire I had in my soul.
However, for some reason I was cold.
I could not find it anywhere in the sky tonight.So kiss me under the stars.
Maybe I would be able to taste the secret you are holding,
Keeping my soul as a prisoner for your own needs,
Wanting me so infinitely that I would never be me again.
