Shadow elementals are one of the four variations of a darkness elemental. Shadow elementals can control shadows, darkness, and luminosity. Their weaknesses include: Direct bright light, places with high luminosity concentration, direct sunlight, and sunny days. Their strengths include: Nighttime, dark places, low luminosity concentrated places, and darkness infused objects. They can’t be in direct light for long or else they’ll get sick. They're actually quite nice as long as you don't treat badly. Shadow elemental’s don’t really like summer either, because it's mainly sunny. Their powers include: Umbrakinesis, umbraportation, night vision, umbrakinetic flight, shadow walking, shadow form, and limited photokinesis. You'll most likely find one in countries or states that aren't sunny a lot or are cloudy often.
