Chapter 1

Seokjin's POV

Hi, my name is Kim Seokjin. Jin or Jinnie for short, but I'm not short like my bestfriend Jiminie hehehe. I'm just a simple student, living a simple life in the middle of the big city of Seoul.

I have given a chance to study here in Seoul because of my mom's employer. They are so kind enough to pay for my tuition fee, and to show my gratitude, I volunteer to help my mom in everything at their mansion.

I'm not living with my mom inside the mansion, she just pay me a visit at my Aunt house where i live when she got a chance to take a day off. Most of the times, I go to the Jeon's mansion to help her. Everyone in the house know me, and they are all nice to me.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Kim." I greeted Sir Namjoon. I learned from my mom that he is a son of Jeon's family friend.

"Hi Seokjin. Nice to see you again." He said smiling showing his deep dimples. "How's school?"

I smile at him. "It's great, Mr. Kim." I said shyly.

"Oh I'd told you to call me Namjoon or hyung." He pat my hair. I nod shyly. "Anyway, i guess you already met my cousin there." I look at him, confused. "He'd once told me about you."

"About me? What's his name? Maybe he's one of my classmates." I look at him, still puzzled.

"He's name is Kim Taehyung." He smile cheekily.

I widen my eyes. "Oh, Kim Taehyung. The weird guy."

"Weird guy?" He chuckles.

"Yes, I think he's weird. His bestfriend is my bestfriend's boyfriend. I've met him on my first day because of Jimin." My head's aching everytime I remember Taehyung. He is cute, but naughty.

"How could you say that V is weird." Namjoon hyung. He is eyeing me while grinning.

"He always follow me around, and....." I trail off. I'm having a second thought if I'll tell him about my encounter with his cousin. Hello, they are cousin. Namjoon hyung will surely laugh at me.

"And......?" He raise his one brow.

"He always call me beautiful." I reply looking on the floor.

He laugh. "Why not?"

I pout. "Isn't weird. I'm not a girl. How dare he call me beauty or beautiful carelessly. And that's the reason why everyone in school call me like pretty, princess and many more which is all for female." I explained to him like a helpless kid.

"It's a compliment, Jin." He just said smiling.

"I don't think so. I'm not comfortable with it." I said honestly.

"You're so honest, Jin. But what they say are true."

"What do you mean?" I frown.

"You're handsome, but more beautiful. You know, Jin. Take they words as a compliment. At least they not call you ugly, which is not true." He wink at me, then left.

I sighed, it's a hopeless case. I walk towards the kitchen where i see my mom cooking. I hug her from behind which surprise her. "Hi mom." I kiss her cheek.

Mrs. Jeon cooed. "Hi baby." My mom said patting my head.

"Awww, you're so lucky to have a good son like Seokjinnie." Mrs. Jeon said smiling while looking at me fondly.

"Thank you, Madam." My mom said, and smile to Mrs. Jeon.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Jeon." I greeted bowing my head then smile at her.

"Aish, this kid." She chuckles, and walk towards me. She caress my cheeks while looking at me so fondly. "How can you be so beautiful inside and out Jinnie." She hug me that made me and my mom stunned. "I wish I can have you as my son." She added.

No One's POV

"The acquaintance party is coming. So I'll pick two students to perform. One is for singing, and the other one is for dancing." Mr. Lee said while pacing back and fort in front of the class.

Jimin raise his hand. "I'll volunteer for dance." Jimin is a dancer. He's the leader in university dance club. Everyone cheer for Jimin.

"Very good, Mr. Park. So, the only problem is who's gonna sing." The professor look at his students.

Seokjin is busy doodling on his notebook. Oblivious about the look that his professor and classmates giving to him.

"Mr. Kim Seokjin." The professor called out, but Seokjin didn't hear. "Seokjin." The professor repeated.

Jimin nudges Seokjin's arm. "What?" Seokjin ask glaring at Jimin.

"Mr. Kim Seokjin. Aside from your undeniable good looks and smart brain, what else can you show us?" Mr. Lee ask smiling.

"He's crooked finger, sir." Yoongi said that made everyone laugh.

"Look who's talking that always sleeping during classes." Seokjin said pouting.

"Ok, enough. Can you sing?" Mr. Lee ask looking at the pouting Seokjin.

"Slight." Seokjin smile awkwardly.

"Please let us hear." One of the boys yell, followed by a loud cheering.

"Oh my Gosh, he's so cute." Some girls squeal from behind said.

"Ok." Seokjin cleared his throat and get his guitar. He walk in front of the class and start playing his guitar, started singing. (Listen to the video above)

Everyone in the classroom went gone crazy after hearing Seokjin. There's also some students from other course and section watching outside their classroom.

Jimin cling to Seokjin's arm since they left the classroom. "I'm so thrilled. Gosh, you're so good. I didn't know you can sing like that. I think I'll break Yoongi for you Jinnie." He said dreamily which earned a glare from Yoongi.

Taehyung and Seokjin just laugh at the couple. "God, Yoongi hyung. He's just kidding." Seokjin giggles not knowing how Taehyung looks at him lovingly.

"Hey, Taehyung. Seokjin might melt if you don't stop staring at him." Jimin joked, but true.

"Ahaha, Jimin. Not funny." Seokjin said rolling his eyes.

"Why can't you like V? He's handsome, he's rich, he's kind." Yoongi teased.

Seokjin look at Taehyung, and look away immediately. "Aish, Yoongi hyung. Stop it, or I'll kick your shin." Seokjin pout.

"Jinnie, just marry me. I'll give you a car, a house and everything that you want." Taehyung said shyly but determined.

"Jinnie, tell me. I'll smack his head." Jimin said, pinching Yoongi's arm to stop pulling him for a hug.

"No need, I'll do it myself." Seokjin slightly smacked Taehyung's head then smile sweetly. "I'll go now, guys. My mom pay me a visit tonight. Bye Jimin hyung. Bye Taetae. Bye Yoongi hyung." Then Seokjin run away.

Jimin just look at Taehyung with sympathy, which Taehyung just chuckles bitterly.
