Mitch rolled his shoulders uncomfortably. "He didn't screw up. It wasn't like that. We just grew apart and fell in love with other people."
"You'll forgive me if I don't fully buy that," Scott murmured. His fingertips were tracing a longer route now--from shoulder to wrist and back. "You're special in any universe. And you belong with me."
"Yeah," Mitch whispered, the word sliding out without any thought or intention.
"Wanna get out of here?" Scott whispered, leaning closer. Mitch could smell him now too, and though he didn't have the nose of a supernatural predator, the warm and spicy scent of this boy caused his synapses to fire out of control.
"Out of here where?" Mitch wondered, vaguely curious if he was being hypnotized by a vampire from another universe or if that was just way too crazy to be real. "I can't follow you into your world or anything. It doesn't work that way."
"No, but I happen to know there's a back alley that exists in this in-between place. There may be a few versions of us back there smoking up, but I'm willing to bet that they clear out once I start kissing you."
Mitch's eyes felt like they might pop right out of his face. "You'll b-be kissing me?"
"You bet," Scott said with a smirk. "Assuming you want me to."
"You bet," Mitch breathed in response, and suddenly Scott was helping him hop down from the bar stool, ushering him out though the hall by the bathrooms with a warm hand on his back.
It was fortunate that no one was in the dim alley because Scott didn't even wait for the door to close behind them before he'd pushed Mitch into the brick wall, kissing him hard. It was almost overwhelming, this feeling of familiarity and novelty all at once. His Scott had kissed him a million times, but he'd never kissed him like this.
The onslaught of sensations prompted Mitch to wrap himself tighter around Scott's long body, obliterating any molecule of space between them. When Scott took a moment to gasp for breath, Mitch leaned in and left searing kisses on the boy's throat. Scott moaned and shuddered and he stared up at the sky where a fat white moon was creeping toward its apex.
"Dammit, I need more time," Scott grumbled. "Not enough. I need more of you."
"I can't think of a single thing that I would deny you," Mitch said, nibbling gently at Scott's clavicle. "Hurry if you must, just... I don't even know what to ask for. Just do it."
"This is nine hundred kinds of wrong. You don't belong to me and I can't belong to you. But I can feel how badly you need to let go and how badly you need to be handled." Scott's hand wandered down and skimmed over the painful hardness at Mitch's groin, eliciting a loud hiss. "You'd forgive me right, if you were mine and I was here with someone else?"
Mitch frowned. "That makes my brain hurt. I don't know... Yes?"
Scott chuckled. "I think you're worth the risk. God, you feel so good in my arms and I love the way you taste. Please let me..."
Fuck it, Mitch thought. He'd have his share of consequences from this--the dreams were bound to be killer--but if he was honest with himself, this is why he'd come. For something old and new, something close enough. "Anything," he whispered, and Scott didn't ask again.
He felt the kiss at his throat shift into something deeper, more urgent. And then with a blue-white flash of pain, he felt Scott's teeth break the skin. Mitch whimpered but it only took a second for the sound to morph into a moan of pleasure. He wasn't sure about the canonical rules for Scott's vampirism and he didn't care. If this killed him or transformed him, oh well. It was too good to stop now. Scott's hand was kneading insistently against his erection and it shocked Mitch that he could probably come this way, and soon. Something about the bite at his throat and the heat of Scott's body as it pinned him to the way made him feel hot and oversensitive and so needy he could burst.
