Let It Snow

2. Add in a scene where a character has to shovel snow

*2 hours later

"Ow! My back hurst, I'm cold and I'm tired...can I stop now?" I moan to my mam, this moaning has been going on for about an hour and I'm hoping she'll give in soon.

"Not until we get all the path clear" she says adding a massive shovel full of snow to the pile that has slowly built up behind her

Great. I thought this was going to be a fun day off where I could listen to music and watch tv while eating so much food I would explode, but no, I was stuck out in the cold with numb fingers and a runny nose. At least if I see anyone I know I can just hide in the snow pile til they're gone.

After what feels like a lifetime I finally go back inside.

"Now with this day off we can all spend some quality family time together" my mam says sitting down in the chair with a hot chocolate

"I think it would be a great idea to decorate the house you know, put the tree up, listen to christmas music and then watch a film. What do you say Holly, Lucy?"

"Sounds perfect" I say, this will get me in the christmas spirit
