"Hey Emmy" called a light brown haired boy from behind her.

"Uuuuhhhhggg" exclaimed 17 year old Emily Parker. It was Friday afternoon and she was standing in the drug store a few blocks away from her house. Turning around she panicked. Ben Campbell started walking towards her. She had been avoiding him since last Sunday when she found out she was almost accepted in to the school of her dreams. Speos, is one of the best photography colleges in the world, and she only needed to send in few more pictures to get in. The only problem is that it's in Paris and they live in Toronto, Ontario.

"Hurry up you annoying photo machine" she said kicking the photo printing machine.

"Emmy, over here" called Ben. Emily and Ben have been going out for a few months but she's not sure if they can survive long distance. And unfortunately for her, she couldn't pretend not to hear him for any longer.

"Hey Ben" she sighed plastering a fake smile on her face, "What are you doing here"

"Oh I was just stopping to grab a chocolate bar" he replied, "But, what are you doing here? I thought you printed all your photos on Sundays?" Her photos buzzed out of the machine. "A bit late" she thought as she stuffed them into her purse.

"Well I, umm... uh... had to print these for a... uummm. Contest! Yeah a contest."

"Really, what contest?" He asked.

" It's a photography contest!" She smiled nervously

"Umm, yeah I sort of guessed that!" He laughed. She glanced down. Hoping he couldn't see the tears welling in her eyes.

"There is no contest" she said.

"Really" he rolled his eyes as they walked over to the counter "You have been avoiding me at school. What's up?" Tears streamed down her face.

"I'm s-so s-sorry!" She cried "Be-before w-wee st-tart-ted I-I app-pli-ied t-to Sp-péo-oss an-d I-I g-got in!"

"Spéos? That school in Paris? That's your dream. Isn't that a good thing?"

"Y-yes! It-t's am-mazing but it-t like six th-thousand-d k-kilomet-ters aw-way from h-here!"

And she ran out of the store.

And she ran out of the store
