Chapter 1: College is hell

Ashley's POV

I slam the alarm clock on the ground as it went off. Don't judge, a girl needs her sleep okay! I get up and look at the mirror. Those bruises from last night are still there. God damn it! I need to put on makeup now. I check the time on my phone. SHIT! It's 8:40. College starts in 20 minutes. I throw on my baggy nerdy hoodie and black jeans and run to college.

"Watch where you're going, nerd!" I hear a voice yell at me as I bump into the queen bee of our college Chloe. She shoves me again the lockers with her arms just under my neck.

I tried my best no to flinch as I see her hand coming towards me and SMACK! It honestly didn't hurt. Chloe is a bimbo who can't hurt a fly since she is weaker than anyone at college. I hear the bell ring and I run off to class.

I had literature first up which I absolutely love. I love poetry, it's the best way to describe what's going on in your head and express your emotions. Since I am one of those students who doesn't have a friend, I tend to sit at the back of the class. Being a nerd has many benefits excluding the bullying from other students. I am always ahead of the class so I don't need to pay attention in class.

Just as I was about to fall asleep, I see the one and only Aiden King enter the classroom. Sometimes I wonder why he hasn't dropped out since he barely comes to any classes and how do I know, well he is in all of my classes.

"Aiden! What a surprise, take a seat and don't disturb the class" Mr Collins says in the most "I don't give a shit" manner.

Aiden scans his eyes around the classroom and the only free seats were next to this emo chick and me. He walks over to me. How lucky am I! As he sits I put on my eyephones and sit back. What a nerd right.

"Hey nerd" I hear over and over again.

"WHAT!" I whisper yell to him

"If you were paying a little bit more attention then you would know that we have a new project in which we need to work in pairs and compose a poem about each other"

I roll my eyes "I know"

"So your house or mine?" he asks

"No ones, I am doing it myself"

"But we need a partner," he remarks

"Go work with that girl there, she doesn't have a partner"

"Look, nerd, he said to work with the person next to you and I don't want to deal with this crap so meet me after college at the lockers and this is my number," He says as he hands me a paper with his phone number on it.

Thug life man!

Rest of the day went by quickly

I hear my phone go off, I look at the caller ID and answer then call while walking to lockers

"No Mike tell him F off, he knows I can't and won't ever do that shit. We had a deal and he is trying to break it."

"I know Ashley but he really wants you to join. And are you coming tonight?"

"No Mike I can't even if I want to, Set me up some other night and send me my schedule for this week"

"He is going to get mad if you don't come tonight, just come even if it's late"

"Fine I will try to come but not guaranty," I say hanging up.

"What was that all about" I hear a voice from behind.

Sorry for such a small chapter
