CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

Chapter Twenty-One

Tatum stood next to Ima, a smile on her face as her eyes connected with Angel's among the guest at Cal and Ima's wedding. A month had passed since her visit to Charming, and things couldn't have been better in Tatum's life. Tatum had decided to cut back on working for Pena when she had gotten back to Santo Padre, she wanted to do more with her life than be the Mayor's assistant for the rest of her life. She wanted to put her expensive college degree to use. Angel had also moved in with her almost immediately, and Tatum loved sharing a home with him.

"I promise to treat you as good as my leather and ride you as much as my Harley."

SAMCRO reciting their infamous wedding vows broke Tatum from her thoughts. She gave Angel one last smile before turning her attention towards Cal and Ima, a laugh falling from her lips as Jax stuck his tongue out at her. Her relationship with Jax would forever be changed since her time in Charming. They were still best friends of course, but there was an awkwardness between the two at times, like when they would talk on the phone and it would just go silent between them for a few minutes, and it felt like Jax had more on his mind than he was telling her, but Tatum knew she couldn't worry about Jax Teller for the rest of her life. She found her happiness and she truly hoped he would find his.

"Kiss your fuckin' bride!" Tig yelled from the crowd, earning himself a middle finger from Cal and a laugh from the rest of the guests.

Tatum smiled as Cal kissed Ima, softly placing a hand on her growing stomach as he did. Her relationship with Ima had grown a bit, they texted each other often and even were planning for Ima to visit Santo Padre soon.

"We're fuckin' married!" Cal yelled with a wide smile on his face as he held Ima's hand. "Mr. and Mrs. James!" He yelled while raising their connected hands into the air.

Loud cheers and whistles broke out from the guests as the newly married James' walked down the aisle together, receiving congratulations and smiled as they made their way towards their wedding table. Tatum watched as members of SAMCRO and Mayans talked, and laughed among each other.

"Have I told you how beautiful you look tonight, mi amor?" Angel asked with a grin as he walked over to Tatum.

"You have, but I don't mind hearing it again." Tatum laughed while wrapping her arms around Angel's waist. "Hi, EZ." Tatum looked over at the younger Reyes brother with a smile.

"Hey, Tatum." He said with a small smile. "I'm gonna go get a drink." He said while walking off towards the makeshift bar.

"Is he doing okay?" Tatum asked, looking up into Angel's brown eyes.

Angel shook his head. "He misses Rey, and he knows he fucked up." He said with a sigh while placing a kiss on Tatum's forehead.

Tatum nodded. EZ and Aubrey's relationship had been going really good, but in the last month Rey couldn't handle the changes in their relationship. EZ had been distancing himself from her and hiding a lot of things from her, so she decided it was best for them to break up. Tatum felt horrible for her best friend, she knew how much the pair cared for each other, and she held onto hope that the two would find a way to make things work between them.

"Let's get a drink, mi amor." Angel said, grabbing her hand and placing a kiss to her fingertips.

"As long as it's not vodka." Tatum said, causing Angel to shake his head and chuckle.

Tatum was sitting next to Angel, his arm resting on the back of her chair and his hand resting on her thigh. He stared at her with nothing but love in his eyes as he watched her throw her head back in laughter at some crazy story Coco was telling. Angel loved Tatum with his whole fuckin' heart and nothing could ever change that. He wanted this woman in his life forever, he wanted a family with her. Angel had never really thought about being a dad, but being with Tatum made him think about a lot of things that he never gave a second thought about.
