❦ BACKGROUND :
⇀ her family originally  came from beijing, china but had to relocate to new york in the year 1999 due to her family's business. she's loved dancing ever since she was a little kid. her parents even sent her to a dancing school so she could nurture her talent as a dancer. her name is originally chunhua but she decided to legally change it to chloe at age 10 because her friends couldn't pronounce her name right. she doesn't mind whether someone calls her chloe or chunhua as long the person can pronounce her name properly. ultimately, her father wanted her to be the heiress of their company but she has decided that she wanted to become an idol instead of taking over the company. her father was against it at first but he later on realized how passionate his daughter is in her dream so he just encouraged her to follow her dream. she flew back to beijing with her mother in 2015 for a vacation when a female jyp/sm staff came up to her and called her pretty. the staff gave her a business card and told her to come to an audition that was going to be held in Beijing. she was a bit taken aback that the staff only recognized her for her looks so that motivated her to give them a never-before-seen audition. she was accepted as a trainee and flew to seoul a few weeks after the said audition

❦ PERSONALITY :
— Chloe is a very light-hearted person. She finds happiness and contentedness in the smallest of things. She's very cheerful and bubbly but she can be shy and quiet when around unfamiliar people. She may seem like a very elegant, snobby and uptight woman but she's actually the exact opposite. Although, she came from a very wealthy family, she's a very down-to-earth person. She enjoys doing physical activities and is very energetic.
