「𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐝, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞」

"yunho, can you help me with something?" seonghwa says as he ate his cereal "with what?" he asks, seonghwa takes a sip of his coffee before talking again 

"it's yeosang's birthday and i wanna get him something." he tries to say in a hushed tone but for some reason, mingi who was cooking still overhears this "that's so sweet of you hyung!" he beams "when's his birthday?" yunho asks "actually today," mingi squeals "why didn't you tell us earlier?" mingi drops his spatula and places his hands on his hips 

"are we going to surprise him? oh! i wanna see the look on his face!" yunho asks, clapping his hands but seonghwa shakes his head "hongjoong hyung said to surprise him when they get back but tonight, he just invited me to dinner with his family." yunho instantly elbows him, giving him a look 

"are you like boyfriend and boyfriend now?" he asks but seonghwa was quick to say no "not yet at least but hey, you're right on track, already meeting the family," yunho adds just as mingi sits down with them on the dining table "for all we know, after tonight, you guys will be married." mingi jokes but nonetheless seonghwa feels flustered at what he said 

"you guys think i should ask him out?" seonghwa asks as if the two were his parents "why not? we can see how much you care about him and you've come to the conclusion that you are whipped for him." yunho pats his back and mingi agrees 

"and he clearly likes you back, how about this, just to boost up the romance and to make his birthday the most memorable one, how about you get help from aunt sooyoung to bake a cute little cake and mingi and i will try to find something meaningful for you to give him." yunho suggests and seonghwa thought it was a great idea. 

something homemade would be more meaningful because he was the one who worked on it, maybe he can even pick up some wildflowers and make a small bouquet for his little fairy.

after breakfast, seonghwa headed to the cafe, just to see if his aunt was busy or not so he could ask for some help "auntie?" he knocks on the kitchen door "yes hwa?" he goes inside and she wasn't really doing anything, just writing on her notebook which he assumes was inventory 

"anything i can help you with?" she asks, eyes not tearing away from her writing "well, yes actually, you see, it's yeosang's birthday-" "it's sang's birthday?" he nods and she let im continue what he wanted to say "and i kind of want to make a cake for him, i guess it'd be more meaningful if i made it for him." he laughs nervously but she just smiles fondly

"i'm telling your mother about this, her son is so sweet and thoughtful." he blushes but lets out a whine before she throws a apron at him and began to help him.

for the whole day, yeosang was feeling tense, he had a day off because it was his birthday so he figured, he'd clean up the house because seonghwa is going to be coming over and so he did just to get his mind off things.

"ah, why am i so nervous?" he buries his face in his pillow as he watches the time fly by faster than usual, he gets up from his bed and went through his closet, he doesn't know if he should get dressed-up for seonghwa or he should just wear his usual clothes, not that he had much but it'd be nice if he finds something that could help him stand out but even though he turned his closet upside down, there wasn't much in there so he just wore what he was already wearing.
