Elena Gilbert opened her eyes, she could feel the warmth of the sun on her skin as the slightest bit of light had escaped from the window. Wincing from the pain she endured—and yet she were alive and safe. Her memory of the night before had become a slight blur. Her eyes watered—thinking about the thought of Stefan and Damon whom forced her the cure. They had sought to harm her. And almost had succeeded in killing her. Klaus. She thought. Oh how Klaus had saved her life—and for that she owed him her life. She would be forever grateful for that. Elena slowly sat up—her entire body ached. But she didn't mind the pain that much. It felt almost surreal to be alive again—human. Her ears begun to ring as she heard the familiar voice—that voice of someone whom she loved with her entire being. She smiled. She wanted nothing more than to see him—the man she loved and cherished. Klaus she whispered softly. Her heart fluttered the slightest at the sudden thought of him.
