Chapter 13: Unknown Feelings

"Kung hindi ko kayo kilalang dalawa iisipin kong nag-aaway kayo. What happened between Iresh and Louwiee is already done. We have nothing to do about it." Marv added. Tumango nalang si Angela at nanatili naman akong tahimik. Wala akong masabi. Siguro nga hanggang doon nalang.

"Oh by the way, tomorrow is Jon's birthday. The two of you are invited, okay?" Ani Marvie.

"But—" she cut me off, "No buts, Arianne. Wala ka naman sigurong iniiwasan, 'di ba?" Nakataas ang kilay niyang tanong. Tumango nalang ako bilang sagot. Tama, hindi ko naman siya iiwasan. For what? Hindi ako affected duh.

"Okay then, see you tonight. Gusto ko do'n kayo ni Angela sa bahay matulog. Don't worry wala doon ang two brothers kaya safe naman." Saad ni Marv. Safe naman daw referring to me siguro. Since alam naman niya ang issue namin ni Louwiee. But uh, hindi lahat alam niya. Remember when I sealed my promise to not telling anyone about the secrets. Naalala ko na naman ang kiss na 'yon. Kainis!

ALAS singko pa lang ay nandoon na kami ni Angela sa mansyon ng mga Fuentes. And yeah, Marvie is right. Wala nga doon ang dalawang magkapatid. Siguro nag overnight ang mga 'yon somewhere.

Ipinaalam kami ni Marvie sa parents namin ni Angela na mag stay daw ng tatlong araw sa bahay nila. Ewan ko kung anong meron kay Marv at may convincing power siya para mapapayag ang parents namin.

We eat our dinner at six o'clock pm. After that ay nanuod kami ng news sa TV. More on NCOV and some political issues ang ibinabalita that's why we change it. Nanuod nalang kami ng movie. Since si Angela ang pumili ng movie malamang korean movie ang mapapanuod namin this time.

‘The dude in me’ ang title ng movie. An first naboring ako pero pagdating sa kalagitnaan ay mas naging exciting ang palabas. It's all about the highschool fat boy and the 40 years old businessman who swap their souls by an accident. In order to return their soul in a original body they need to protect the current body they have. The high school fat boy was bullied before but after that incident, he became cool. He learned martial arts together with the young lady who  always bullied. After that the fat boy became thin and handsome. The rest of the story ay maganda. Nagkaroon ng great revelations and plot twist. I can say that the movie has a happy ending. Very dramatic but worth to watch.

Nang matapos namin ang isang oras na movie ay balak na sana naming matulog. But Jonard and Louwiee suddenly came.

Akala ko ba, wala sila dito?

"I thought both of you took an overnight somewhere?" Marv asked. Louwiee gazed at me.

"We have a change of mind, Marv. By the way dito muna matutulog si Jens." Louwiee said. Nakangiti namang  inalalayan ni Jonard si Jens. Bakit nandito s'ya? Inakbayan ni Louwiee si Jens sa harap namin.

"Sa guest room ka na muna matulog, goodnight." Hinalikan ni Louwiee si Jens sa noo nito. Jens smiled at him. She don't even notice us. Asar. PDA na naman.

"Uh, excuse me." Saad ko at saka umakto na maglakad.

"Pa'san ka?" Jonard asked.

"Magpapahangin lang sa labas," sagot ko sa kaniya ng hindi lumilingon.

"Samahan na kita." He insisted kaya tumango ako.

WE'RE here now at the treehouse. Naalala ko ang unang araw na tumapak ako sa treehouse na'to. The day where I kissed him because of his own belief. 'Yong araw na isinuksok ko na sa kokote ko na hindi ako mahuhulog kay Jonard at mas lalong kay Louwiee. But damn it! What happened now, self?

'Meow' napansin ko ang kulay itim na pusa na nasa treehouse.

"Hey Elvin," Tawag ni Jonard dito. He petted it and the cat purred contentedly. "You should go inside Elv, it's too late now." Tila nakakaintindi ang pusa sa sinasabi ni Jonard. Tumalon ang pusa mula sa hagdan at pumasok sa loob ng mansyon.
