He froze in place realizing that the call wasn't from 'Mr. Stalker'. What was he thinking anyway? It was a stupid idea. Tony decided he needed a break as he turned around. But once he did so Peter had pushed away his phone to glance at the screen. Another call had come. This time from Mr. Stalker. Though before the boy had a chance to answer or do a thing the call disappeared. Tony had clicked the end button. And all Peter could assume was that he was called by accident. He'd just ask later as he returned to Ned's call.

Peter didn't notice the defeated look in Tony as he walked off. He didn't notice as he gripped tightly against the phone. Peter didn't notice it. But Bret did.

I saw your call but didn't get the chance to answer

I'll call you back when I can though!

I hope it wasn't anything important
