Chapter 9

Narrators POV

Shinso walked out the door, followed by Denki. "S-sho" he huffed "are you okay?" Denki asked as he caught up to Shinso. "I'm fine" Shinso sighed.
They continued walking in silence until they got to Shinso's front door.
"C-could I come in Sho?" Denki asked him.
Shinso sighed.
Would his dads be okay with it?
Well, only one way to find out.
"Yeah... sure" Shinso agreed

SHINSOS POV

I opened the front door and walked in, followed by Denki. I took a quick glance around to make sure my dads weren't around.
"Coast is clear" I whisper
"What?" Denki whispers
"Nothing, follow me"
We walk up the stairs swiftly. I quickly open my door and pretty much throw him in my room. "What the?!"

"shhh" I shush him, "I don't want my dads to hear you, they'll start questioning EVERYTHING!!" I tell him, I go to close my door when one of my dads pull me into their bedroom, closing mine behind them.
"Son... Who is here?" Aizawa asks
"Denki..."I mutter
"Why?"
"Because he followed me home," I sighed
"Do You Looooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeee Him?" Hawks asks from across the room
" i- uh" I could tell I was blushing, I didn't want to say,  because I didn't really know...
"How long is he staying?" Aizawa Asks
"The night?" I ask hopeful
"Fine, you can leave now. I'll get you both soon for dinner" Aizawa tells me.

I walk out and into my room. Denki is patting my cat. "Uh hey, you can stay the night if you'd like" I say
"Sure" he replied gleefully
"Great" I chuckle, taking a seat beside Denki.

"What do you wanna do?" I ask him
Denki looks around my room until his eyes lock on my Xbox 1
"You have an Xbox?" He asks, hope filling his eyes
"Uh yea"
"What games you got" he asked
" Apex legends, cod uh like all of them, fortnite, Minecraft, crash-"
"CRASH?!?" He gasps as he cuts me off
"Yep"
"Let's playyy" he whispers

I set up the game and we take turns playing every level, I gotta admit... he was pretty good.
After about an hour , Hawks walked in.

"Shinnnn-" he starts, looking at me and Denki. "I forgot you had a friend" he smiled at Denki.
"Oh yea, this is Denki... Denki this is my dad, hawks" I say
Denki nods.
"Well tea is ready for the both of you" Hawks says, closing the door and walking out.

I glanced at Denki, giving him a quick smile as I stood up, walking towards the door.
"You coming?"
Denki nods, standing up and following me out.
We walk together to the kitchen, where four plates of food were set out on the counter.
"Which ones are ours?" I ask.
"Which ever one" He replies.

I grab the two closest to me and hand one to Denki, sitting down on the couch and grabbing the remote.
Denki, though looking nervous, sits down beside me, grabbing his fork and stuffing some mashed potato in his mouth.

Denki's POV

I slowly ate my mashed potato as Shinso scrolled through Netflix. His dads, Aizawa and Hawks, has sat down with their food.
"What do you wanna watch Denki?" Shin asks
"Oh I don't mind"
He clicks on Brooklyn 99 and puts the remote down, getting his fork and starting to eat.
"So Kamanari" Aizawa starts
"Dad-"
"Hey don't worry, I'm just gonna ask a few questions"
Shinso glares at Aizawa.
"Denki , how's life?" Hawks speaks.

"Oh... it's pretty good" I lie, hoping none of them could tell.
Hawks nods, as Aizawa looks back at me.
"What's your plans for tonight?" He asks
"We were just going to play video games and sleep dad, Jesus" Shinso sighs
"DON'T USE HE THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED'S NAME IN THIS HOUSEHOLD" Hawks yells, causing Aizawa to smile and sigh, and Shin to laugh.
I smiled.

This is what I always wanted. A nice family dinner, with laughing and some stupid show in the background.
Just asking questions about your day, school, life.
I loved it here.
But I knew I couldn't just stay forever, even though I wanted too.

"Denki, are you okay?" Shin asks, bringing me back to reality.
"Huh? Oh... yeah I'm fine" I give him a reassuring smile.
I continue eating the food and watching the show until both me and Shin had finished.
"Alright, we're going back to my room, bye" Shin spoke, standing up.
I followed him into his room, flopping on his bed. I could hear Shin laugh from behind me.
I felt the bed lower on my right, looking beside Shin had sat down.
I sat up too, smiling at him.

Shinso's POV

I sat down beside Denki, he looked at me and sat up, smiling his adorable goofy smile, I couldn't help but smile at him.
"What video games do you have?" He asked, pulling his eyes away from mine and looking towards my tv.

"cod, gta, crash bandicoot, Minecraft"  I started listing different games for us to play.
Suddenly Denkis eyes lit up.
"MINECRAFT!!" He yelled

I laughed, standing up and grabbing the game.
I turned on my console and handed Denki a controller.

"Let's play a survival world!" Denki suggested smiling.

Denkis POV

We'd been playing Minecraft for awhile.
We killed animals for food, went mining and built a house together.
I made multiple farms while Shinso when mining for diamonds.

"Are you having fun?" Shin asked, still concentrating on the game
"Obviously" I chuckled

"Shin, is Denki going home soon?" Hawks asked, walking inside shins room.

"What's the time?" I asked, concern on my face.

"12:36"
"Oh no-"
"What's wrong" shin asked

"My dads gonna be furious"  I sigh
"You can stay the night" Hawks smiles

I nod, relief flooded me.

I know I wouldn't be able to stay here, I'll have to go home and face the thunder soon.
But right now... I feel safe here.

In a loving household with Mr Aizawa and Shinso....
