Chapter One: Tears in Blue

"Recently everyone was worrying about me," Wendy thought. She lay on her hospital bed as her mind was curious about the room. "I wanted to sing," she thought and it continued, "I wanted to hug everyone and tell them, 'I'm okay, I'll be fine. But it hurts them even more when they see me in person," then she stopped talking to herself. The room was quiet but it wasn't dead silence, the machine that's attached to her, created the sound. Wendy sighs. Then a creaking sound made Wendy look up as she saw Red Velvet walking in, and along with her parents. "Wendy," Joy said, seeing her friend in bandages. The small girl waved, "H-hey," she said, nervously. She didn't know what to say. 'Hello girls, I'm doing fine.' Joy ran up to her and gave her a squeakable hug. "Ow!" shrieked in pain. "Opps, I'm sorry. I forgot what your-" Joy said, sadly. Tears were forming into her eyes. "Joy. Joy, it's okay, I'm fine," Wendy said, trying to stop her friend from crying. It hurts her, seeing anyone sad, hurt or at least crying. Seulgi, Irene and Yeri walked up to Joy and stood beside her. Seulgi hugged Joy. Wendy looked at Joy and then looked at Irene. "You seem quiet, are you okay?" Wendy said to Irene. "I'm fine," Irene said, her voice was quiet but she didn't want to speak any longer. Irene breathed, trying to remain calm. "Irene it's okay to cry, you don't have to hold back," Yeri said, rubbing her back. Irene looked down and a single tear dropped off of her face and onto the floor. More followed. "I thought we were gonna lose you," Irene cried. Wendy knew the fall on the SBS stage was insane for them. She would likely have died. Wendy can remember the crowd, the pain, and her screaming cries when it happens. It hurted alot. The doors once again open, her parents quietly walked in. "Mom! Dad!" Wendy said, happily and loudly. The other 4 girls looked over at the door. "Seung Wan, why are you happy?" Her mother said. "It's been awhile since I've seen you." Wendy said. "Yeah," her dad says. Irene whipped her tears. "You know Seung Wan, you literally fell from a couple feet from the air. You scared us to death," her dad continues. "The fall has stopped you from performing, Seung Wan. But your mouth hasn't moved." Her mom said. The others in the room kept calm, trying their best from laughing. "I'm sorry, I didn't expect this to happen to me." Wendy apologized. "We understand, It was actually SBS' fault, they knew it wasn't safe and once you fell they brought more up there." Joy said she was slightly angry about it. "It's okay, Joy." Wendy said. "Unnie, It's not okay. They could have murder you. I wouldn't know what to do without." Joy angrily. Wendy looked at her left hand and whipped tears from her face. "Unnie, I'm sorry." Joy said before sighing. "I just really need fresh air." she said, sadly. She left the room.
