Omg we've said I love you. I'm so happy when he said it I could tell he regretted saying it but also meant it.
When I said it back he instantly got happy.
We ended up snuggling and and doing tik toks the rest of the night and then mattias dad got back.
*knock knock*
"Hey guys I took Val out shopping and got her a few things and we're back now" Matt says while me and mattia are watching a movie
"Okay pops" mattia says
Val barges in and jumps laying in between me and mattia then behind her the dog
"Hey cutie how was shopping" I say rubbing her hair
She starts explaingin everything she got and I'm suprised Matt bought her all of that
"Matt you didn't have to buy her that much stuff" I say feeling bad
"Hunny it's fine I miss shopping for a little girl" he says getting sad
What did he mean by that, like for a little girl or for a girlfriend I didn't know so when Matt and Val left I asked mattia
"Uh mattia" I said quietly
"Yes mammas" he says in a sleepy tone
"Why did your dad say he missed shopping for a little girl and why did he seem sad about it" I said still in a quiet tone
I can feel mattia start to tense up
"You don't have to say it if you don't want too" I say
"No I love you and I feel like you should know" he says tearing up
"Well you know how vals room had already been set up when you guys got here" he says as a tear drops down his face
I nod my head signaling yeah
"Well a few years ago my mom had been in a car crash and with her my little sister" he says almost fully crying
"Oh my gosh" I say sadly
"My mom had lived but my little sister didn't, my mom went almost fully crazy and left me and my dad after it happened" he says
"My dad never had the guts to change my little sisters room" he says
"Mattia I'm so sorry" I say feeling very bad and also tearing up
"I just miss her so much and your little sister reminds me so much of her" he says breaking down
I go in a hug him as he cry's into my shoulder
"What was her name" I say trying to calm him
"Madeline" he says sniffling
"Well I'm sure she's watching you right now and seeing how much of a good person you are to me and Val and your dad and holding the family together" I say
"I love you Sofía you hold me together" he says making me wanna cry
"I love you too baby let's get some sleep" I say getting under the covers and snuggling up with mattia
As I was laying there I was thinking about how much people don't know about mattia and what he's been through and hate on him. He try's so hard to stay strong but it's hard when he's constantly told he's doing it wrong.
