Chapter 10:Jessica

Laura's POV

Alex and I were going to go to a movie today but he said some family thing came up, so I'm gonna see of Ross wants to hang out!

I'm gonna call him

"hello?" he said on the other line

"Hey Rossy!" I said

"Hey Laur"

"Alex is busy today, wanna hang out?"

"Sorry I'm actually busy today"

"Oh, R5 stuff?"

"Uhh no I'm going out with an old friend"

"Ohh who??"

"Their name is Jessica"

"Jessica? that's a weird guy name! Oh"

"Yeah her and I were best friends as kids and I ran into her the other day at the mall so were gonna go to a movie, wanna come along? I'm sure she won't mind!"

"Oh no! it's okay, hope you have a fun day!" I said

"Okay we can hang tomorrow!" he said

"Yeah sure bye!" I said quickly

"Bye laur!" I then hung up fast

I called up Raini as fast as I could

"Hey gurl!" she said

"Raini, I need to talk to someone, can we meet at Starbucks?" I asked

"Yeah sure! see you soon!" she replied then hung up

I got in my car and drove to meet Raini

When I got there I saw her already sitting at a table

"Raini!" I said

"Laura!"

"I haven't seen you in soooo long" I said hugging her

"I know right, too long!" she said as we both sat down

"I ordered you something already, an Oreo frappé" she said

"My favorite!" I said

"So what did you wanna talk about?" she said which reminded me why I wanted to talk to her

"Well Alex and I were gonna hang out today and he had to cancel, so I called to as if Ross wanted to hang out and he said he was busy and had plans with a girl named Jessica, and..." I said

"Oh" she said "you like Ross!" she said

"No I dont!" I rejected

"C'mon you're jealous that he's going out with a girl today"

"You know why I don't really wanna talk about it anymore" I said trying to change the subject

"Laura" she said with a serious face

"I don't really wanna talk about this anymore right now" I replied

"Okay fine" she said "wanna go see a movie or something?" she asked

"Yeah sure" I said

[At the movies]

We're going to see Mocking jay!

"I heard this movie is really good!" I said as we found seats in the theater

"Yeah me too!" she said

[half way through the movie]

We're at the part where the Capitol just bombed district 8

I look over to my left and see a familiar friend

Shit!

It's Ross with that Jessica girl

Okay just be cool Laura...Ross said they were best friends so they probably still are!

[later in the movie]

I looked over to my left and saw
Ross and Jessica sitting there

They weren't really close so they don't see us

"What's wrong Laura?" Raini asked

"Huh? uhh nothing" I said

She looked over to where I saw staring

"Oh my goodness! were trying to forget about him!" she said

"It's okay I'll be fine Raini" I told her

I looked over again at them and see Jessica moving close to him and then...try to what?! kiss him?!??!!! what?!! no!!

He pushed her off
All I could hear was little whispers but I made out a few word like
"Friends, like, bye" then I saw Ross leave the theater and Jessica followed. Luckily the movie just ended so were gonna leave now hopefully we can catch Ross on the way out...

Omg! I am so sorry I haven't updated in over two months I have so much going on right now like I'm at a new school, my family life is terrible to like my parents are getting a divorce and my dad is having surgery for his heart and he probably won't make it...so just so much, I'm gonna be updating a lot sooner hopefully some time this week!
