"Let's go then!" I said, walking towards one of the booths with that sort of attraction.

~

It was getting close to dark as the sun was already setting and each of us only had one ticket left. We decided to ride the ferris wheel so we could see a nice view of the sunset.

"Sensei! Eri and I will take a different cart, so you and Aizawa-Sensei can enjoy a ride without us kids." said Mirio, winking at me.

"W-what...?" I squeaked out, my face starting to flush.

"Huh?" was all Shou said with a blank face. "Why'd he wink. (Y/n) do you and Mirio have an inside joke or-"

Mirio had pushed us into the cart.

"aH-" I yelped, bumping into Shou as he caught me in his arms.

"Woah, watch out. You almost fell."

"Thanks..."

"I guess Mirio was right... A little time away from kids wouldn't do us any harm. I mean, we're teachers for crying out loud." said Shou, sitting back in one of the seats behind us. "And the sunset is really pretty."

He was smiling. A genuine smile. I want him to wear a smile like that every day.

"(Y/n), stop staring at me. It's weird." said Shou bluntly, glaring at me.

"S-sorry." I stammered out, looking away from the tired man.

"You can sit down next to me if you want. It must be uncomfortable to stand up the whole time." said Shou, patting the seat next to him.

I took his offer and sat on my best friend's right side. I stared out the window, looking at the sunset with Shou for a bit before I heard a soft thud against my left shoulder. Turning my head, I saw Shou asleep. Well, at least he was sitting down when it happened. His previous position with his arms folded started to untangle and eventually they fell onto his lap. Maybe... perhaps... I could... try and... possibly... hold his hand...? I decided to let Shou rest against the wall for a second while I stood up to think about the consequences and possible outcomes.

"Okay, think (Y/n). Pros: you get to hold the hand of the guy you've been crushing on since like... forever! Cons: he might wake up and yell at you or think something weird is going on, he could find out about my feelings for him, I could lose a frie-" the ferris wheel suddenly stopped, and I fell on top of Shou.

"Huh? What happened?" asked Shou in a drowsy tone.

I looked down at Shou, my face completely flushed.

"Oh, hey, (Y/n). Were we in the middle of something or...?" asked Shou, his eyebrow was cocked and a smirk was present on his features.

"N-NO! I JUST FELL ON TOP OF YOU!" I exclaimed, quickly getting off of Shou and tried to cool down my face.

"Huh. Looks like the ferris wheel stopped. Do you think it was a villain?" asked Shou, looking out the window.

"From the looks of it, don't think so. It's probably just a malfunction in the machine. This happens sometimes." I explained, looking out the window opposite from Shou. "Do you think Mirio and Eri are okay?!" I asked, grabbing Shou's shirt.

"I'm sure they're fine. Mirio is a capable student..." said Shou, grabbing ahold of my hands so I could let go of his shirt.

"I hope so..."

"How long do these things usually last?"

"Huh? Oh... I don't know... it probably differs. Maybe like an hour or so?"

"Looks like we're gonna have to try and kill some time then." said Shou, sitting back in the seat. "Hey, you alright?"

"Y-yeah... I'm just a little cold, is all... I gave my jacket to Eri since it started getting a little chilly back there."

"Here." Shou had put his coat over my shoulders. "It's not much, but it'll protect you from the cold."

"T-thanks, S-Shou..."

All I heard was an "mm-hmm."

About 20 minutes later, I had dozed off into dreamland.

~

"Shouta...?" I asked, walking up to my best friend.

It was the end of the day and most of the students were already on their way home after a long day of school.

"Hm?"

"I, uh... wanted to give this to you..." I mumbled, handing the second-year a letter.

As he opened it and read it, his eyes went wide.

(Y/n)... I..."

"You don't have to say anything... I just wanted to let you know..."

"I think I feel the same way." he smiled, a faint blush dusting his pale cheeks.

I looked up at him, and hugged him tightly. Afterwards, looking up at the slightly taller male, I kissed him lightly on the lips.

Aizawa's POV

(Y/n) was the one who started to doze off this time, and I let her use my lap as a pillow to make it more comfortable for her. Hopefully she wasn't as cold as before since she was just wearing a (f/c) long-sleeve. Her arms started to rise up as if she was trying to grab something.

"Hm, what is it, (Y/n)? What do you ne-"

She pulled me in for a kiss on the lips.

A/n: oh yeah baby I'm pulling the broken ferris wheel card heheh >:) anyways, I'm out of school for like 2 weeks cause of the virus so like,,,,,, stay safe out there guys :)
