Who Gets The Toge-Twins?

Our heroes are resting peacefully in a pokemon center, Brock polishing one of the eggs that Ash found at the digging sight, while Ash is cradling the other one.

"I wonder what's gonna hatch from these." Misty said. Ash's uncovered eye glows and sees what's inside.
"Ash, what're you doing?" Brock asks, Ash replies with "It took me a little while for me to master it, but I can see what pokemon are inside the egg. And from the looks of it, it looks like this."
Ash pulls out his pokedex and shows them a picture of the pokemon Togepi.

"Aww, that's so cute!" Misty said, Brock says "Yeah, I hear those pokemon are popular in Johto and Sinnoh. And it's final evolution is a very good pokemon for battle when used right."

Ash nods and shows them Togepi's evolutions, Togetic and Togekiss. Brock asks "Can you see the gender when they're in the egg?"

Ash answers with "It's only if the pokemon has a gender difference to begin with, like Eevee." Brock nods, saying "Togekiss would be a great team member."

Ash nods and Ash's Togepi egg hatches, showing off the little pokemon's patterns, which the colors swap places then the picture from the pokedex showed Brock and Misty and the pale yellow parts is a rosy pink, which is a little pinker than a normal shiny Togepi.

It is considered to be a symbol of good luck. Its shell is said to be filled with happiness. This Togepi is level 1 with the Ability Serene Grace and knows the moves Growl, Pound, Present*Egg Move*, Extrasensory *Egg Move *, and Morning Sun*Egg Move*]

Togepi nuzzles Ash lovingly.
Ash checks the pokedex to see Togepi's gender and sees Togepi is a girl. Ash pets Togepi, as she trills happily.
Team Rocket were outside, spying on Ash and the others, plotting to get that egg and baby Togepi.

At night, Meowth managed to sneak in the room in the pokemon center where Brock was staying and snatched the egg and flees.
In the morning, Brock screams.
Misty and Ash goes in and they see that the egg is missing.
They look everywhere in town, so far, no dice.

Ash spots Team Rocket with the egg and Pikachu and Eevee goes after them, retrieving the egg and fleeing from Team Rocket.
Meowth makes Pikachu trip, which causes the egg to fly off and luckily, Misty catches it just in time for it to hatch into a Togepi, though this one was in normal colors. Misty wasn't down though, the Togepi was just so cute

Team Rocket gets to them and tries to get the Togepis and they , Brock ,and Misty get into a heated argument and Ash says "Alright that's ENOUGH!", while making them fly via telekinesis.
The group looks at them, stopping the arguing. Ash puts them down and says "We'll just compromise. That Togepi imprinted on Misty and the other one imprinted on me. But if you guys want the other one so bad, make a little tournament. Winner gets the Toge-Twins."

The four looks at each other and nods.
They go to a stage for the battles.
After a while, a lot of battle wounds, Brock wins and has Team Rocket blast off with Onix. He goes to the Togepi, but like Ash said, it imprinted on Misty, so it chose to stay with her.
Brock was a bit heartbroken, but Ash tried to cheer him up and the gang heads off to Cinnabar.
As the journey continues.
