February 3rd, 1999

Draco and I have been engaged for exactly a month today. He hasn't really said anything about it and it's bothering me a bit. I know it's silly. Why am I telling you this? Merlin, this is so strange...
Draco and I have been doing well. Although I don't think we quite love each other yet. We haven't even chosen a wedding date yet, seems too real.
I feel like you need to love someone before choosing your wedding date.
Perhaps you can help us with that choice?
Also, what will we be doing for wedding gowns?
I could probably ask you that in person but it's on my mind now...
I'm thinking for colours we should do silver and gold? I would like to do red and green but that's a bit Christmas-ey. I'm worried silver and gold would clash though...usually gold and silver jewelry don't go well together...
I'll ask Ginny, she's good at this stuff.
I'm off to bed.
Good night!
Hermione.

"Hey, can I go to bed? I'm quite knackered." Hermione asks, crawling into her bed

"Of course. I'll head that way too." He says, standing up and grabbing a change of clothes before saying a quick "nox" to turn the light out, grabbing his box of cake from Alexandra to finish on the way

The next morning, Draco woke up with one thought on his mind; How has Alexandra been? He hadn't seen her for a bit. And he needed to thank her for the lovely cake.

Getting out of bed, he quickly got ready and ran out of the room and common room straight to breakfast to try and find Alexandra. Unfortunately, she wasn't in the Great Hall for breakfast yet, so he would have to wait for a bit.
Ten minutes later she finally strolls in with two friends and Draco immediately stands up and rushes over to her
"Alex...can I steal you for a second?" He asks before she nods to her friends to go on while she speaks to Draco

"I just wanted to thank you for the lovely cake and apology note. How have you been?" He asks, with a large smile on his face

"You're very welcome, Draco! I've been great! Although seeing all the couples has kind of been annoying. I get a bit lonely sometimes. Even my friends have boyfriends. I just wish I had someone...like you and Hermione." She smiles

"I'd be happy to be there for you." Draco smiles

"What about Hermione?" She asks dubiously

"What she doesn't know won't kill her."

"Alright. Why don't we skip breakfast and take a walk down by the lake? I'm not very hungry anyway." She suggests, to which Draco nods yes and follows her toward the doors to go outside

"So...how are you and Hermione?" She asks curiously as they reach the outdoors

"Who cares? I'm with you right now." He smiles

"Draco. I just want to make sure before we do anything that could potentially lead to a relationship...that you're okay with this even though you are engaged to Hermione."

"It's not like I have a choice about my engagement. I don't really care. So...about what you said when we were giving you the tour..."

"The offer still stands. Always has...what made you change your mind?" She asks curiously with a smirk on her face

"Oh, nothing...your little note perhaps." He smiles

"So Draco...let me know when you're free and away from your fiancée and we'll have some fun." She whispered seductively before stalking off away from him, back toward the Great Hall, which left Draco licking his lips, excited for some free time

big oof

Well...that's certainly gonna put a bit of a strain on Hermione and Draco's relationship...hehehe

Why do you think he's got a change in mind of Alexandra so randomly? What is Hermione gonna do when she finds out?
She's gonna find out...she's Hermione Granger...she knows everything!

Also...can we talk about how different their journal entries are? I mean...it's hilarious
