She was twenty-nine when she finished university
With a degree that would lead her
To saving the world her mother
Never finished saving.
Her priority was children, because
Everyone deserves a happy childhood.
She put her heart and soul into
The protection of those too frail
Too young
Too innocent
To protect themselves
From the evils of adulthood.
For once, there was no one to blame
For her dedication and inherent goodness.
Rather, one could commend her family for her path and attained glory
It wasn't a bad thing
But they could've tried harder.
