An unheard plea

See you are my everything
My everlasting light
My sunshine
No- my evening sky
Two stars that shine so bright
You drag me in
You let me go
You leave my conscience wrought
My dear I gave you everything
But see it was for nought
Your eyes are likened to the stars
Your smile to the sea
You make it feel like many waves
Are crashing over me
You draw me in like riptide
You drown me in kind words
You let my body float to shore
To get picked away by birds
So I sit alone at night
Think of the possibility
My minds gone blank
To be quite frank
My dear you're killing me.
