Day 1. The End: Introduction

If you're reading this then you have been one of the select few to be in the MarkZone Project. This project will not only provide humanity itself a new beginning, but a new way of making the human evolution evolve into its final state of perfection.
Your name, memory, and your identity have been raped of your mind and what's left is a clean slate. Your new identity is now Lilly Hunter. You are 18 years old and have enlisted into the USSGBAF. We'll explain that in a while but as for now your mission is to reap the once known as Earth, of all its inhabitants.
You are our last defense of ensuring our place in this ungodly universe is assured.
Good luck Soldier.

Day 2. The End: Enlist and Die

"SUPPRESSIVE FIRE!.... SUPPRESSIVE FIRE!..." We were pinned down. Shots were flying from every direction. Seems like that's all we do, is just get pinned down. Shots flying and cowering away in nooks and crannies, hiding from our enemy. It's disgraceful and pathetic.
"Dammit, We're always getting pinned!... Aye Sergeant, what's the ratio for us winning to losing this sector?" -That's Cadet Bennet, he's known for his negative point of views on Situations, and having asked fixed questions (already knowing the answer to the question). But, his point of views, whether be negative and, rarely, positive have meaning and seem to make logical sense; Which it happens to be most of the time.
"Well Cadet, if it's a must know situation, then we as a Platoon have a ratio of 1 to 10 percent chance of winning this sector."
"Meaning what Sergeant?"
"Well Cadet that means this wasn't supposed to happen. We were supposed to Hit Sector 2 this is sector 1." said Sergeant First Class (SFC)  Hector
"God Dammit!"

The lights turn off for two seconds then return on

"Sergeant First Class Hector! What in God's Name are you doing!?" That's Sergeant Major(E-9 SM) Miles. He's a hot headed person. Doesn't like to play with the kiddies, or Cadets, and most of the lower and higher commands. However, he's got a solid heart. If you get his respect, he's a different person in all. However, that's an occasion that's practically close to never happening.
SFC Hector snaps to attention as he is being spoken to by SM Miles. "Sergeant First Class Hector, front and center now!!" Sergeant Major Miles commands in a thunderous manner that almost seems to have the ability to make one piss themselves.

"Moving Sergeant Major!" Sergeant First Class (SFC) cracks from attention, hardly thinking about saluting to his Superior, and double times it to the Sergeant Major through Sector 1, Sector 2, Then Sectors 3 and 4.

SM Miles, while waiting, grows impatient with what appears to be a lack of motivation and becomes highly offended by the lack of respect.

Finally in front of the Sergeant Major, SFC Hector snaps to Attention and Cracks a Salute.
Knowing that he isn't permitted to move from this position until given a return salute,

SM Miles, looks at the SFC with full intentions of letting him stand there making a salute. However, he had to bite his tongue and swallow his pride. He got to attention, and waved a salute. They both dropped to attention, The SM relaxes while SFC Hector stands at Attention.
"Stand at Ease Soldier" says Sergeant Major Miles.
SFC Hector does as he is told, and goes to the position of at Ease, but only swivels his head to lock on to The Sergeant Major when needed.

"Sergeant First Class Hector, do you know why I've called you in front of me?"

SFC Hector motions from Standing at Ease, to Attention, and responds
