This Marks The Beginning Of The End.... Or Is It The End Of The Beginning!?!

Neo felt a familiar warmth cover his hand he looks down and sees a hand holding his then he looks up and sees Elysium standing next to him "what are you doing here!?!"  Neo asks with a soft surprised tone "I'm your very own official cheering section!.... luckily for me you once again chose not to put me in a cheering outfit!.... especially in this rain!"  Elysium replies he chuckles "we are connected remember!?! where you go I go!.... you made sure of it!.... most likely subconsciously.... and since I was born a program...."  she adds then stops he squeezes her hand and they start walking.... "Mr. Anderson, welcome back we missed you you like what I've done with the place?"  Smith asks his eyebrow raises when he sees Elysium at Neo's side "it ends tonight"  Neo replies "I know it does - I've seen it that's why the rest of me is just going to enjoy the show - we already know that I'm the one that beats you"  Smith says as he watches Elysium walk over and stand with his many clones she doesn't stand WITH them per say but in front of them near and yet far from them close to the clones but away from Neo and Smith who was in some ways connected to each clone and yet separate at the same time much like he was with the Matrix he BELIEVES he is free from it and yet KNOWS that it still controls him it is quite possible that what he has been shown was made up.... possibly by the Oracle.... to make him believe the "lies" he was now telling Neo or his hopes are EXTREMELY high.... Elysium watches somewhat worried about both men there was something about Smith that she liked and she believed he only hated "flesh" because he was programmed to hate it he was MADE to be what he is and just like everyone else connected to the Matrix he had no choice but to be what he is.... "can you feel it, Mr. Anderson, closing in on you? well, I can I really should thank you for it, after all, it was your life that taught me the purpose of all life the purpose of life is to end"  Elysium hears Smith say as he and Neo fight even though they were no longer near her and the clones.... at this very moment anyway.... Neo and Smith create a crater in the road of the rainy city as they fall at high speeds from the sky Elysium and the clones walk over to the edge of it and watch as Smith stands over a unconscious Neo and Elysium accidentally gets pushed down into the hole by the army of Smiths and lands in a canoe/bathtub shaped balcony like hole within in it the Smith that fought Neo looks up at Elysium then around at his clones and back down at Neo as Neo begins to wake then get up "why, Mr. Anderson, why? why? why do you do it? why, why get up? why keep fighting? do you believe you're fighting for something, for more than your survival? can you tell me what it is, do you even know? is it freedom or truth, perhaps peace – could it be for love?"  Smith asks once again looking up at Elysium who stayed standing in the hole she fell into and Neo who also looked up at her started crawling towards it as Smith continues  "illusions, Mr. Anderson, vagaries of perception temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect.... trying desperately to justify an existence.... that is without meaning or purpose! and all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself.... although, only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love you must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson, you must know it by now! you can't win, it's pointless to keep fighting!"  Neo hears Elysium whisper softly "I believe in you!"  as Smith asks "why, Mr. Anderson, why, why do you persist?"  Neo wobbles a little as he stands up then replies "because I choose to"  Smith grits his teeth then walks towards Neo and they fight yet again this time Smith throws the first few punches which Neo blocks Smith punches Neo's stomach then Neo blocks a few more punches his eyes meet Smith's shades and he throws a punch of his own which hits Smith's cheek he throws a few more each hitting their mark then he punches Smith in the chest sending him flying into the wall of the crater creating a hole in the rock no matter how much she wanted to Elysium knew that she couldn't slide the rest of the way down and help Neo all she could do is stand by and watch but unlike the other Smith's who were there to see Neo's demise she was there to support him just then the ground started to shake and Elysium grips the edge of the hole she was in as Smith flies out of the wall of the crater shouting "this is my world! my world!"  then he flies back down and attacks Neo knocking him down into the waiting pool size puddle in the floor of the crater
