You opened your eyes to find a strange warmth engulfing you. As your eyelids fluttered open, your sight began to wander at random places. Since you were facing the wall, there was nothing really interesting to stare at. But a strange feeling of deja vu overcame you. It was hard to move. Not because you had just woken up, but something kept was wrapped around your waist to keep you from moving.
As you turned over slowly, you were met by an unusual sight. Edd was still sleeping softly, his face completely relaxed. It was strange, to say the least. Most of the time he had a cocky grin on his face. So seeing him like that was a bit surprising. What was even more surprising is the fact that you just noticed he never took off his beanie. Even as he slept. Was there something he was hiding under that hat? A bald spot, perhaps? Or maybe a serious scar leftover from his past. Curiousity poked at the edge of your mind, until you were pulled back into reality when his arm moved a bit.
Slowly, you grabbed his hands wrapped around you. You tried pulling them off, but to no evail. His arms were clasped around you like tangled vines. Mentally facepalming, you were trying to think of a fullproof plan in order to escape this messy situation. 'What about just waking him up?', you thought, but instantly took back that idea once reminded of your father. He always hated being woken up. There is no telling how he will react.
'So what should I do?', you asked yourself, genually in need of assistance at this point. It was as if God had answered your prayers when Ed came bursting through the door screaming at the top of his lungs.
"Rise and shine, my little unicorn hatchling! It is time for mother to feed her baby.". Edd shot up from his bed gasping as he nearly had a heart attack. As for you, your heart nearly gave out as well. Ed tilted his head bit with his goofy smile present as always. You smiled while trying to slow your heart rate with steady breathing. "Jeez, Ed. You sure know how to give a wake up call.", you said, chuckling a bit. Edd just grumbled as he laid back down and pulled the covers over his head.
Clicking his tongue, Ed quickly grabbed you and pulled you off the bed. He then looked at Edd, who was still grumbling under his blanket. "Now, now, Double Dee. We must take care of her now, as we are loving parents!", he said, in a motherly tone. You looked back to Edd, who didn't budge. "Go feed her yourself, damn oaf.", he said, rudely. Just when you were about to say something, Ed gained a more stern tone. "You need to be there for our child, Double Dee!", he yelled. Silence fell over the room. Next thing you know, Ed began walking into the hallway, leaving the door open in the process. You watched him stop at the end of the hallway and turn around to face the door. "Ed, what're you-", just before you could finish, he began sprinting, letting his arms flail in the process. "CANONBALL!".
As soon as Edd heard him scream, he tried to get up, but failed. Ed had landed onto him causing him to let out a yelp. You couldn't but laugh at the sight as Ed started yelling at him about parenting nonsense, and Edd struggled to get free from the heavy boy. They both froze in their actions as they saw you erupt into a fit of laughter. "Oh, so you think it's funny, tootz?", he said, intimidatingly.
You continued to laugh, as you grew pains in your stomach, causing you to hold it. However, you couldn't stop the contagious laughter. Ed, slightly lost, began to laugh anyways. He got off of him, and began to erupt into a laughing fest as well. Holding his stomach, he kicked his feet around on the floor. "You both have lost your marbles.", he said, sitting up and rubbing his neck.
As soon as the laughter died down, Ed grabbed you threw you on his back. "To the kitchen!", he yelled. If it wasn't for your quick reflexes, you would have bumped your head onto the top of the doorframe.

Once you had managed to convince Ed to let you down, you sat down at the kitchen table. It felt very strange, to say the least. But you knew you couldn't stay. This wasn't your home, but neither was with your father. At some point you would have no choice but to return home. You couldn't let Edd and Ed risk being arrested over something that wasn't their business.
