Things I know should be there,

But they're simply just not there,

I know that we did this last week,

But the things aren't there,

And they were never there,

I try and I try but,

It just keeps falling through,

I know I should be able to do,

This all, but the holes are too big,

Overwhelming holes, that swallow,

Up everything that tries to stay,

I try and I try so damn hard,

But I can never do it,

No matter how hard I try

The holes win.
