Aura and Psychic Showdown

The jogger looked at Gary with annoyance, but went back to Ash. "Does he do that a lot?" He asks and Ash answers with "You have no clue."
Everyone goes in, but Misty goes to the bathroom and the rest of the group sees classrooms with many people in white coats, seeming to be practicing psychic powers. They're approached by a brown haired man with a white mask over the bottom half of his face, explaining it would be wise not to be here, especially of you aren't one with psychic powers.

Gary scoffed and says "I won't need them. Muscle over mind!"
Ash looks at him and says "What about brains over brawn? But that wouldn't be fair since you don't really have either." The jogger and Brock snickers a bit. After Misty rejoined the group, they head to the arena and they see a little girl in white on a chair.

"Oh great Sabrina. You have two challengers." The man said, leaving the room. Gary scoffs and says "A little girl? This'll be easy."
The girl spoke. "I'd love to have a battle with you two. But if you both lose, you have to be my friends and let me play with you."

Gary seems confused and said "Well, I don't know about Ashy Boy here, but I know I'll win. So I accept." Ash looks and says "It's a doll." The group were clearly confused, but the see a woman with the girl in her lap. "Time for us to play." The woman said emotionlessly.
Gary looked a little creeped out, but shook it off. "Heh, whatever. Let's battle! I'll go first!"

The woman floats with the girl in her arms, showing that Ash was right about it being a doll, thanks to her psychic abilities, she was able to make the girl life like in other ways than looks. "For this battle, one on one. All out. Agreed?" Ash and Gary nods.

Gary sends out a Blastoise, the final evolution of the Squirtle line.
Sabrina sends out an Abra.
Ash seemed puzzled, why Abra? Well, it can learn a lot of moves via TM or TR. But maybe...Wait, it's coloring and size. It's going to evolve any moment now!

"Gary, don't underestimate that Abra!"
Gary just ignores Ash and commands Blastoise to use Hydro Pump, but Abra dodges thanks to knowing Teleport. Ash was right. Abra started to evolve and become Kadabra. A very powerful Psychic Type pokemon.

"Charge Beam." Sabrina commanded, to which Kadabra obeys, a powerful beam of electricity shot Blastoise in the center of his stomach. Blastoise took a lot of damage, due to it being a super effective move. "Quick, use Surf! Fill the stadium!" Bad move against a pokemon with psychic and and an electric move to boot.

"Confusion." Kadabra using Confusion, controls the large amount of water, making it into a dragon like shape and it hits Blastoise hard. Kadabra then uses Psychic, making the use of it's telekinetic abilities, slamming Blastoise up the ceiling and back down on the ground hard until it's knocked out cold. Gary was shocked to say the least.

Ash goes to the stadium with Pikachu, but Sabrina seems displeased. "Don't hold back. That includes your powers." She said, shocking everyone, especially Ash, since the only ones who knows about his powers are Oak, Trip and his pokemon. But he remembers that Sabrina is psychic.

"So that time in A.J.'s gym and in Vermillion, you used some sort of powers to make me lose?!" Gary accused, Ash obviously denied, after all, it was the truth. "He is speaking the truth. He has an item on his belt made to suppress his powers." She was right, Ash removes the item, it looks like a button, but it's a fuschia color and it has an eye in the middle.

Misty and Brock were shocked, why hasn't Ash said anything about his powers? Ash looks at the ground nervously. The doll spoke.

"You didn't want anyone to make fun of you about your powers, right?" The doll was right. That's exactly why he almost never told anyone about his powers. Ash nodded to confirm to Sabrina. Sabrina spoke with "Like I said. An all out match. That includes psychic powers. It's legal as long as you don't use your powers on my pokemon."

Sabrina was right. Some people have psychic powers and some of them preferred to use them to communicate and control their pokemon. Ash looks at Pikachu and it nods. Ash sighed and said "Very well. "
Sabrina continues with "Instead of one on one, it will be five on five. In addition, all pokemon may use all of their moves instead of being limited to four or less. Since I'm the gym leader, I can make that happen with our battle."

Sabrina was again right.
If the gym leader was fine with it, they can both have their pokemon use even all of the moves they have.

"Hang on! Why didn't you let me do that in our battle?!" Sabrina glared at him and said "Because you're an idiot and an egomaniac. And because I can."

Gary was about to tackle Sabrina, but was stopped by psychic force and it wasn't from the gym leader. It was from Ash.

"Don't make yourself look even more like a fool than you just did." Ash said, looking annoyed. "I agree to the terms, but on one condition. In addition to my badge, if you had turned anyone into dolls, you release their souls." Sabrina nods, keeping Kadabra out. They begin the battle
Sabrina bringing out an Exeggcute and Ash Charmander.

nstead of speaking, they're using telepathy to communicate and order their pokemon. Which is perfectly legal as long it's with their pokemon.

Exeggcute used Seed Bomb, but Charmander intercepted with Flamethrower, which one shots the egg like pokemon.

Next was Starmie vs Bulbasaur, Starmie went to use Ice Beam, but Bulbasaur was faster Petal Dance was more than enough to knock Starmie out.

Now it was a Slowbro, and now it was Squirtle's job, Slowbro went for Water Pulse, but Squirtle cancels it out with Rapid Spin and then attacks with a powerful water gun, leaving Slowbro unable to continue.

Sabrina now brings out Hypno and Ash with Eevee, the battle swiftly ended with Trump Card.

Finally, Pikachu vs Kadabra. This was the longest.

Pikachu uses Double Team and they all use Dig. Kadabra was trying to sense Pikachu, but Pikachu seemed to use Teleport and latches onto the middle of Kadabra's back and uses a very powerful Thunderbolt.

Kadabra then used Recover and then Fire Punch. It didn't do much damage, however, it caused Pikachu's ability, Static, to activate, causing Kadabra being paralyzed.

Sabrina was surprised and cursed herself, not remembering Kadabra's ability was Inner Focus and not Synchronise or Magic Guard, but remembers Kadabra knows Facade, which doubles it's power when the user is poisoned, burned or in this case, paralyzed.

Kadabra goes to use Facade, but Pikachu uses Volt Tackle before Kadabra can use it, then Pikachu ends it with it's new move, Thunder. The smoke clears and Kadabra is down, out cold.

Sabrina looked shocked. Ash hugs his Pikachu and the Haunter appears and floats around Sabrina, making silly faces and even has a cartoony bomb, which explodes with smoke. Then, Sabrina starts to smile and laugh. The jogger started crying.

Ash turns to said jogger and then says "I hope I did the job right for your daughter Edgar."
The group was shocked and looks at the jogger. "Your Sabrina's dad?" Gary asked.
"Your name is Edgar?" Misty asked.

Edgar nodded and said "I asked Professor Oak to help Sabrina and he recommended Ash to help me with my problem. That's why you went to Lavender Town before here."
Sabrina calms down from her laughter and as promised, turns her mother , the only one turned into a doll, back to normal and approaches Ash.

"You're a great battler and a great psychic Ash." She said, handing Ash the Marsh Badge, along with a TM for Psycho Cut and a TR for Psychic.
The gang heads off to the pokemon center and plans to head to Celadon City.
As the journey continues.
