Depression can't be summed up with such a piddling word like sad

Yet those three little letters are always used to describe it

As if its an all-encompassing word for depression

Depression is much more than that

Depression is anger

Depression is crying

Depression is smiling

Depression is confusion

Depression is emptiness

Depression is darkness

Depression is crossing the street without looking

Depression is staring at all wall in search of reasons to live

Depression is staying up at night wondering how you let it get this bad

Depression is saying you're okay because you're tired of explaining

Depression is reminiscing on the times when you were just content

Depression is more than just sadness; its a storm of emotions that can not possibly be summed up by a measly three-letter word
